Obama didn't loose the popular vote, only if you count the Michigan and Florida primaries, which were supposed to count because they moved up thier dates. Plus Obama's name wasn't even on the Michigan primary's balot, and did not even campaign in Florida. So if you take out those two states, (and you should) then Obama won the popular vote easy.

Obama is just a talker. His actions and his talkings often don't match. He said that he will use positive tone for campaigns. Just today he started to inject negative and bitter languages to his rival.

It won't happen overnight but it won't happen by 2012 either. It's physically impossible to move almost 200,000 people overnight. It might take 12-18 months but Obama will pull the vast majority of the troops out of Iraq WAY before his 2012 relection.
