  • Nice

  • yes sir

i was a kid and used to sing my ass off to kieth whitley songs and still do i just hate that the good always gotta leave us....

  • yes sir

  • I wasn't blessed to meet Keith in person, but through a close friend of Keith's brother Dwight (and mother Faye) was a guest to Sandy Hook in the early 90's. Keith will always be MY benchmark of Tenor vocalists in both Country and Bluegrass. I truly wish I had been able to sing a little harmony with him and pick a few tunes while he was here on this journey of life. I cherish an autographed ticket from Keith's Homecoming Concert (Thx Harley) and my pics of Billie R.w/ Dwight & the Panhead- RIP

  • Yes, I still love you and I still think of you.

  • One Of My All Time Favorite Singers. What Great Lyrics and Delivery On A True Account of Love Gone Wrong. One of the best country voices of our time. What a great loss for us. Thanks for posting.

Check out my version on You Tube at MosesRangelMusic

  • one of the best songs of all times If Keith had lived longer maybe he could have influenced more young country singers and maybe country wouldnt be this crap we have today

  • Keith was unquestionably the best male singer of any genre. He has such great control of his voice, that anyone who has sung, really sung, could hear the way he could do things with his voice none of us will ever do. Keith was a symbol to us all. He showed us that being the best, sometimes still isn't enough. What he taught us with his death was simple. Love each other, love with deepness, and never take for granted the love you have. Keith, we love you too.

  • YES WE THINK OF U ALOT AS WELL. WE ALL LOVE AND MISS YOU KEITH WHITLEY. PLEASE R.I.P

  • fantastic

  • Remember watching him at the maverick standing on a milkcrate B4 all the fame and pain back when he was happy

  • Yeah but it still sounds awsome.Wish my old 57 pan shovel would start that easy.

  • the sound is messed very low......keith was country!

  • G.B.N.F.1%!

  • I had the priviledge of jaming with Keith at a bluegrass festival, when he was with Ralph Stanley. I had never or never expect to again hear a voice like his. If you ask whats the definition of a country music singer and the answer doesn't say Keith Whitley, then you not looking at the right dictionary. If you can listen to I Never Go Around Mirrors and not have chills go all over you, then you dont like country music. Sadly we will never know the wonderful music we lost when we lost him.

  • We will "always" think of you.You were the greatest singer of country music! No one can sing like Keith Whitely!

  • such a humble man

  • keith whitley was one of thos singers that was like a musical gift from god...the best country singer and bluegrass for that matter.

  • Beautiful.

  • Such a lovely tribute....What a sight it would've been seeing all the Bikes heading to his grave. RIP Keith, you were taken too soon.

  • They are doing some kind of memorial for Keith today in Olive Hill, Ky...

Maybe my husband, daughter and I will get to see it..My husband loved his music..

Soo pityful that he is gone :o(

  • i didnt know keith whitley was in a motorcycle gang. it looks like he's really aged.

  • He's dead man! Thats his older brother Dwight. Tryn to show his love for a brother.

  • That was his brother.

  • Miss ya Whitbom....your songs are still great!!!!!

  • Yes, I still think of KW and even hear his music in dreams!

  • were in the hell did the last 20 years go, i remember the day he died so vividly,,,

  • Yep, me too!

  • Me 2 I will never 4get that day my high school boyfriend came over early that mornin when he heard and woke me up I thought he was lying I just would not believe him..

  • God this video is sad.

  • To my friend: YES...every single day...and, so you know, I haven't drifted away...friends are loyal, right? XXOO Red

  • To my friend.: communication is nice but not necessary with true friends. Time doesn't erode loyalty, at least not with me.

  • All I can say one of the greats!

  • Keith passed away on my 17th birthday. He was, and always will be, my favorite singer of all time. Great video. God bless the Whitley family.

    I'm.........speechless...

    WOW!

  • Very touching video , RIP Keith Yes I think you often and miss you and your wonderful talent.

  • It was either a drug overdose or alcohol poisoning. I don't remember but it was a tragedy to lose someone so young and talented

    R.I.P.

  • my 2 daughters go to sandy hook school wher they showed keith & lorrie going into the school ( not in this video)

  • Keith was one of the nicest people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. I knew him during his days playing with Dr. Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys. Gosh, he was just a super individual...and talented beyond all description. I remember hearing about his death on the radio and it was truly as heartbreaking as losing one of my own family members. What a tragic loss to country and bluegrass music.
