This one is for you, Thomas John (and your Sunday Night Cruz)! Man, I'm getting old. Oh, by the way, Cheetah died on Christmas Eve 2011. Love this nutty tune!
I am 22 Years old I love older music from the past,, from the 50s-80s... I have to say I love this music..... there is osme good music today but not as good as back then
This novelty song released in July of 1959 by The Eternals incorperated animal sounds which was unique. It was a great fast dance record and became a hit for them along with another novelty record that they recorded called "Babalu's Wedding Day."
i SANG WITH A GROUP IN BROOKLYN WHEN THIS CAME OUT AND WE SANG IT WALKING DOWN THE STREET.... Babalu's Wedding day is the that made them popular but I loved this one and rock and roll cha cha
last year my dad brought an all original 58 ford and cruised around listening to this song ill never forget it music of the 50/60s sticks to your soul like no modern rap crap can this music is the best and im 15 i grew up with the 50s style everthing
Rock n' Roll Cha Cha flipside of 'rRITJ' is a very hot cut.. great groove and the some of the tightest harmonies ever!(except for the annoying ahh haa) give it a listen
Yeah, search you tube for it The Rubinoos are giving an interview in an airport in Spain or somewhere and they perform this song for the reporters acapella

Rob Reiner should have used this tune for the soundtrack to Stand By Me. This tune is from 1959 -- the same year the story (Stand By Me) took place.

Used to play them on a jukebox in a pizza place in Newark. Loved their sound. I now have them on my own personal AMI/Rowe home jukebox.
