I think what's interesting is that this band has amazing talent, but they don't get nearly as much press coverage or recognition as they should. I think they have sustainability reminiscent of Underoath, and Jag brings something fresh and original vocally and lyrically. I don't think ASD has never been 'generic'. They are a band that produces what they want, without any trends clouding their artistic integrity. As for comparing them to the current 'scene' ASD is a diamond among rubies.
