The R1 motor is a good option with its power and torque, but what about a gold wing flat six, and a trike rear end. The parts are more robust, and would handle the lightweight car much easier.
@vfIskullangel Can be done, must use transaxle to get reverse, take front sprocket, machine off teeth, cut fiber part off clutch plate of vw clutch plate (non-spring), make 1/4" plate in between to hold appropiate size Flange bearing to have the shaft you will make, make frame to hold engine to plate/transaxle..... Bike tranny/clutch stronger.........use both trannys....very easy ...........DO IT!!!!
@oaky132x Ill consider doing this to like a Solid Sterling or an Aztec or other type of VW based kit. I'm looking into doing one as a budget build. Something that looks hot but will shame hondas.
I agree Herbie, the paint scheme hides the fact that the car is kinda ugly, also the flipup Ford Probe headlights replace the original cut outs that it came with. Thanks Oaky
I was suprised too, but the way it worked out when the bike tranny is in 6th, it's spinning about the same RPM's off the countershaft as the VW engine would spin. But oppositely, 1st and 1st is very slow, good for parades when you want it to crawl along. Thanks Oaky
Do you know what kind of MPG you get? I have a Bradely GT. I want to do something with it. Im looking at using the stock type engine. Thabks Gary

This is probably the coolest bradley I have ever seen so far. Now I wanna build one with a ZX14 or Hayabusa motor.

so it only hits 80-90mph tops with the bike tranny?
why, because of the weight or because of the gearing?
