Firstly, this is chillstep, and secondly the drops are at 1:02 and 1:50 or so. It's not going to be intense, because it's definitely chillstep. Chillstep is meant to sound fluid, and not sound "all over the place and lacking in all sense of rhythm." Please, don't deny this, I produce chillstep and Drum and Bass. I, actually dislike "dubstep" in its normal sense, because it doesn't suit my laid back personality.

Im going to post just as the other people have, dubstep is a genre just like any other style. It has ranges of " WOB " that it reaches. Just like rock, you have heavy, soft... ( and mainstream pussy shit ). This sort of dub is overlooked by alot of the kids who think its all about the drop. I personally think this style is amazing. Just listen to music from " Phaeleh " . Its pure dub to the heart but has no predictable drops.

Disapointment is the feeling this track has inspired within me. It's a good track but its just one of thos DnB tracks of the variety I dislike. I was expecting something which sounds more like dubstep (probably because its labeled as such) and I loved half of 'so sick' its just a shame this contains the half I don't like.

Regardless its an A for effort and execution BUT I wouldn't label it as dubstep and my own bias has contributed to my disapointment.

Bassline doesn't fit the progression implied by vocal harmonies. If you have any keyboard skills, I'd put them to use and play through the original chord progression as a starting point. Also, it's more tech house/breaks at the moment. Not for a lack of wobbles but rhythmically it just isn't dubstep.
