9 Trillion dollars is our national debt. Experts predict it will triple over the next 10-15 years. The dollar becomes weaker and weaker every passing day. China, Russia and India are holding private meetings to remove the dollar as the global reserve currency. Americans conitnue to get fatter and fatter (1/3 of Kids are diabetic; 1/2 of adults are over weight and unhealthy).

The UK has a 'socialised' health care. So how come these idiots keep comparing it to a system that no longer is in power in Germany? Apart from anything socialism and national socialism are 2 different things.

Im in the UK and the healthcare system is awful. Absolute waste of money, dirty hospitals run by underqualified/inexperienced doctors, comittees meet and decide which patients to 'let go'

If you want decent healthcare u HAVE to be privately covered.

I live in the UK. The NHS is not a waste of money, it is not full of dirty hospitals and unqualified medical staff. It's not perfect, and it does need some changes.

It used to be much better until the 80's, when the government introduced far too many unnecessary managerial changes to the system. There are a few bad cases, but the same goes for private medical care.

The press pick up 1 story and make it sound as if it's the same across the board. I for one would not want to be without it.
