I was watching some Mohammed Ali videos on YouTube. How do you explain that he had so much success doing just the opposite of what is taught in boxing science or Muay Thai science. Ali, had his hands down to his waist and just moved around the ring on the outside fighting area. I have never seen Ali form the standard boxing stances. How was Ali able to win so many fights with such an unorthodox fighting system????
@OurJourneyOnEarth Everyone is different and usually your body type will determine your perferred stance and fighting style. Ali utilezed speed and had long, lanky arms and could stay outside. There are plenty of boxers who utilized an orthodox boxing stance and were very successful- Mike Tyson comes to mind.
do you know any jeet kune do? do you know how the stance works for jkd? Im experimentin it myself as well and the jkd is complicated for me to analyze cuz my kicks and punches have no hip power when i pivot. I pretty sure my footwork is out of the center line. Can you help me?
@renoboy666 No problem, Adam posted the videoa up on lockflow, I liked your take on it, especially the analogy in the first video about the fishing line inr egards to your body posture. I've been using those Flip HD Camcorders for recording, and they work great for HD quality vids.

Thanks! I'm thinking about redoing this second video, due to the low light situation.
