  • sometimes when people are formally evacuated, the authorities force them to leave their pets behind. its barbaric, my great aunt had to leave her two cats and one drowned before they got to them, because they made her leave them.

  • did none of the dogs survive?x

  • I was wondering why people

    left animals behind?

    they cant escape with animals?

I m not blaming them just want to know Y?

  • i was crying at that part when i first saw this show.... YESTERDAY!!!! :(

  • TOO LATE:((

  • fkn champ

  • Animals are poeople too and need our help. I wish people would realize that. there is also a need to rescue animals from local shelters Good for you. Keep up the good work

  • ¡¡Ustedes son héroes!! ¡¡Gracias, los quiero mucho!!

  • I don't know how to articulate how grateful I am to all the people who stepped up to help animals in the wake of katrina. You are all heroes. I can only imagine the suffering and sadness that you have endured.

  • pets are NEED human support .... they're not wild animals that can hunt and survive, they were bred by humans for domestic reasons and people just leave them behind thinking they can survive? they won't, they need us .... i could never leave my buddy behind, he's family, i don't see how people can abandon their family members like that

  • I can't imagine myself doing it either. But you and I DON'T KNOW the desperation and panic that resulted from Katrina. Many of these people barely managed to escape with their OWN lives, and, in fact, many didn't.

Would I leave my cat? NEVER. But then... I wasn't there...

    Moosie
