Actually, you don't have to use any vegetable oil at all. Only Coconut milk, boil it up, then put your curry paste. Coconut milk already have its oil. It'll come up after you boil it. (but i'm not sure about the light coconut milk.) That's how we do in Thai.

Anyway, it's look really good.

Yes, VietNam is a developing country, VND is tiny compare to US Dollar. (you can calculate 1=21000)

Our country make good and cheap food, but electric stuff in VietNam is extremely expensive because our technology isn't good enough to produce our owns. Then people must import them from many other countries in the world, after a long way to VietNam, the price raise to 1,5 or double the original price.

In conclusion: Food is cheap, Technology is expensive.
