I went prospecting at Iowa Hill last spring just for a few hours with my X-Terra 70 and I didn't find anything, but I also didn't know what I was doing. I was new to detecting and also to prospecting, but it was a good experience. I went down Penny Weight trail, north of the bridge about a mile, the ground got REALLY mineralized a certain spots. Drove the detector crazy. It was also 100 degrees that day so I couldnt stay long...was gunna pass out so I had to leave. I'm going again this month.

thanks hixonau.. i plan on spending every wakeing min dredging or useing my mine lab x terra prospecting for deposits. and i am adding a new video tapeing person so you will get to see me more in action rather then behind the camera.. not that you might want that..lol but it makes for better entertainment...

thanks guy, but you must have something close? they prospect in vermont? so there is gold on the east coust. but here is something else to think about? have you ever looked into gem hunting ?? i watch alot of video of that around your area!
