When your mate starts on you with a Super Combo, Combo, Combo. The insane want of even a very small hit that would STOP his " PERFECT " was always a better feeling that actualy wining. Game Score 10/10
Wow... I never ever got to play the arcade version, I've never even SEEN it until now. Compared to SNES, graphically, it's amazing. Rare is still around making games today, they NEED to make a KI 3 on current systems!
Actually the N64 KI Gold (Killer Instinct 2) graphics were highly inferior to the arcade version of KI2. Better than the SNES KI1, but still neither version had anything on their arcade counterparts for obvious reasons. That's why they should make a new KI, or at least port the old arcade ones to 360/PS3. Rare does still exist and they still make games, so it's not an impossibility :) And the music was awesome too!
I think I've only seen a KI1 cabinet in person. :/
I'd love to see KI on our consoles, but the D-pad on most controllers nowadays. Ugh. The joystick use is the only way for SF4, Xblox controllers suck. PS3's controllers aren't much better, if at all. Wii doesn't even deserve it, as Nintendo will be like LOLWAGGLE.
I agree. The 360 D-pad is horrible for fighting games (cough, SoulCal IV). The PS2/3's are better, but still. The SNES controller was my favorite for fighting games.
SNES D-Pad was practically perfect in every way. I loved playing Stree Fighter and Killer Instinct on it. I've got a working SNES with SFA2, SF2, and KI. It's awesome.
