Darren, well done!! I've been a fan of Bruce for over 25 years and have had the pleasure of seeing him live several times when he's come to my home town here in New Orleans. I can say with certainty if Bruce heard you play he would be quite flattered. I've had the pleasure of talking with him between sets at my local House of Blues. He is very personable and modest, very easy to chat with, and he definitely appreciates his fans. Again, well done!

I am probably the biggest hornsby fan there is lol and I would say one of two songs... i would stronly suggest The Show Goes On, definitely not the obvious, but one of his best, especially the piano sections... also maybe Valley Road, a little more obvious but never the less a great song... I originally learnt the song about a year ago, took me maybe a few hours, but its definitely one of those that grows and grows over time. I hadn't actually played it much prior to recording this vid, but I thought it might just be better to dive straight back into it than overplay it to myself beforehand! I chose to learn it in the first place after hearing it on the radio, then listening to Hornsby's 'The Way It Is' album a lot. Just really hit me as a wonderfully expressive piece of music.

Pay no attention to Geigerkampf's comment. I've been in radio for nearly 20 years, the last 13+ as a programmer. I receive CDs on a daily basis that don't display this level of talent. A little voice coaching & a few hours in a professional studio, and you could very well make a go of it. Very nicely done.
