I just got a GeForce 8400 GS from best buy to play this game on vista. It has helped the game out a lot but when I play online it still runs slower than it should. The thing that is strange is that the box says I only need up to 7800 series. Is the 8400 not good enough to play online?
i go training .when i go into the game i just see the scren colour turning yellow and pink over and over and i can hear the character walk and verything its just the picture and on my laptop(vista) when i get into the game the video is fine u can see my character than the game stops working then this error popup appears and i dunno what.Plaese reply for this ASAP. Thanks
of course my computer will run it. 1gb vid card. 1000 watt psu. 8gb ram. 2.6 dual core AMD Athelon 64 x2. and to top it off a hard drive thats 2 terabytes. made for gaming only :)
Kk, I can run it fine on a ATI Radeon x1050 with 2 GB RAM and a *single* core processor P4 @ 3.4 GHz. That's more impressive than running it on some gargantuan machine like yours.
yea if your videocard is over a year old it will run like crap... actually no matter what you do it's gonna run like crap. and the startup video doesnt show anything
I have shadowrun on my Vista PC. I'm running an AMD X2 4200+, ATI X2900XT, 2gb RAM and it's perfect. Never any slowdown or frame skipping, no freezing, I load, faster than everyone else usually. No stability problems and no crashes.
My only problem is that Xbox live voice comms is shitty quality and sounds like teamspeak on a low voice codec. I'm spoilt with my Ventrilo server and top quality voice codec I guess.
half the servers will only give a "failed to connect" issue. its not me, its the servers. and a well known problem. (i think its silver pplz having problems afaik)
nice setup, but im curious why you wouldn't just use the xbox360 to play, because that video card is lacking plus vista has a lot of bugs, i had vista on release for a while but it really crapped out my system so i swichted to mac... anyway have fun.
We already have Shadowrun on the 360 and the idea was to compare the Vista experience. With the addition of the better video card we've had less video driver related errors. Check my other videos to see former Vista related video error problems experienced.

I have my copy running on my XP, right next to halo 2 vista. runs perfectly smooth, lagless at max video settings
