@websuspect people hav been saying how bad the gyro is. If you can, replace the gyro or even try using a small flathead to adjust the gain on the Heli. Try tuning in down JUST A TINY BIT.....any big turns can result in major changes.

You mention the "proper dip switches" I own an E-razor 450, with the same transmitter. What are the dip switches supposed to look like? please tell me one at a time? I purchased the chopper from X-Heli and haven't gotten it right yet...

Thanks very much - that helped a lot. I did read the manual but really struggled to undertand. I suggest you embed this tutorial along with your reveiw - it may fend off some rookie frustrations.

I have an Erazor 450 but have had quite a few problems with it. For starters, main gear always stripping as well as the main motor pinion sometimes. Also, when the gear switch in the off position, and I move the throttle stick, the swashplate should still move up and down as in other helis but mine doesnt move at all. Is anyone having these problems with their erazor? If so, any suggestions on how to fix it?

Fantastic vdo, very helpful. Thanx. I have an Erazor 450 but it has been stripping the main gear ever since I first got it. I have had tp replace the main gear and/or the motor pinion every 4-6 flights. I have checked the motor alignment, main shaft, and nothing seems unusual. I guess it has something to do with alignment, but cant pinpoint the exact cause. Could you pls help? Any handy tip? Thanx.

if you buy this heli you might need to make alot of your own adjustments i had to fix the paddles and still need to level out the main blades, if not the radio/gyro afterwords my tail wants to turn counter clockwise. wish i bought an EXI kit or the trex i kinda regret my purchase atm.

XHELI GURU: I think Dynam purposely sent you a fine tuned Dynam E Razor 450 to review. My buddy bought one from you is most certainly NOT ready to fly out of the box. Not balanced. Not set up correctly at all. Basically everything wrong that cmartman48 and others explains. I don't know about you, but that would really concern me as far as my reputation is concerned, if I were you.

I have an erazor 450 and i am replacing the crappy radio it comes with because you cant program it, not to mention the factory radio gets signal interference all the time. Mine has gone into lock out multiple times and crashed & thats with it being within 50ft of the Transmitter. The helicopter is well built, but make sure all screws are tight and have locktite. Set pinion gear lash with a piece of paper or it will wear in just a couple flights. It is a good helicopter for beginners...

If I pull batteries out of transmitter,

does it reset to brake on or off?

Does the E-Razor 450 have complete instructions on how to set the brake and low/high time programming?

I still have not yet get a clear understanding from the videos because my beeping sequence is different. I tried toggling the gear switch, turning on the radio and binding to reciever and gyro together.

It binds perfectly but I cant get the esc to beep the same as the videos on here.

@cmartman48 Heres some free advice... Buy a different radio, the radio that comes with the erazor is junk and cannot be programmed. It is setup so if you get signal lock out the heli goes into full down collective driving it into the ground. As for the brake feature that is a ESC function. The ESC should maintain the settings you set it to regardless of what happens with the radio. I bought a inexpensive 2.4ghz 8ch digital radio for less than $100 & has worked 10x better than the factory one.

What are the dip switch settings? What are the factory settings of V1 and V2 for pitch, expo, gyro ect??? The manual doesnt tell you anything??? Please help show a video of how to find and make the correct setting please!!!

I just recently purchased a E-Razor 450.

The instructions are not clear,hard to under stand I managed to figure out for the most part the controls and functions.

I seam to have a problem with the chopper wanting to fly to the left. Is it the paddles causing this.I balanced the blades with the blade balancer and the razor blade criss cross option. I do have the swash plate level both ways. Any advise? suggestions.I

@cmartman48 Yeah watch the video series how to build an EXI 450. Although they are different helicopters they are set up identical. (120 degree swash system etc.) Also get a different radio system because the stock Dynam radio is junk and unprogrammable not to mention the manual is a joke and impossible to understand. Mine didn't come with a manual so I downloaded one from Dynam and its a laugh. Mine has crashed 4 times because the radio locks out. Get a different 2.4ghz radio & then flies good.

Do you think the gyro and ESC needs to be replaced too or do you think it's good enough to train on?

I also ordered 4 new servos (MG90)

When I first opened the RTF E-razor kit. I was impressed. I also ordered the tool kit and EXI aluminum carrying case,extra blades. But upon checking everything.

1. main gear wheel is warped

2.main shaft woobles(bent)

3.broken DIP switch on the dynam racon radio.

4. Paddles and blades not balanced.

5. servos had lots of play.

6. main gear to pinion too tight of back lash.

I wondered if it was a used heli.

I  never recieved no reply to my questions.

I purchased your latest carbon fiber e-razor 450. And i'm now having trouble binding it. after turning the tx, i plug in the rx and all i hear is a three beep sequence followed by single beeps. No lights from the receiver and from the Gyro. The Gyro is different from the rest of the older razors and it's actually the cheaper kind. Anyway. Please help.

@eraserfunny The carbon razor 450 actually comes with a better gyro. its the gy48v similar to the futaba. Look up gy48v and see how a guy named Paul flies his EXI choppers with it. It hold very well. It is superior to the gyros that come with the plastic framed dynam 450.
