  • This looks to be an artistic endeavour. This work falls along the same path as faux finishing. It requires 2 things you have to have an artistic knack and a lot of patience oh yes also “experience”

  • Looks ok but it's so labour intensive. i think i prefered it before the final dark coat.

    Agreed, the very last shot looked a little better, but you lose to much of the grain when you make it that dark. Just some food for thought for anyone attempting to do this yourself.
