there are two different types of cobras though. i'm a shelby cobra guy, not a mustang svt cobra type. shelby cobras kick major ass and the handling actually isn't quite that bad.

Yeah they are. No but my friends dad is a mechanic and he owns one. I was fortunate to at least drive it enough to get warmed up in it. It gets pretty tail-happy though if you're not careful, but a little warming up in it will get you on the right foot. It's a fun drive though regardless.

@jlubez im with ya, but the rite cobra will keep up with it. Ive put both cars against eachother, and my 96 cobra kept up with the new E30, twin turbo I6. Now my cobra had some bolt ons,and lowering springs, but no boost.

Both cars were matched evenly on the backroads of P.A, the coners, the strait, and the hiway. Im not here to start shyt, not here to be an asshole know all, Im just stating the facts and situations that I know from physical experience, not a video game or youtube video.

@cobra96svt570 yeah i know what you mean. btw the new 3 series is an e92. but anyways one thing that could be said if the new 3 series were lowered you would have quite the track special. Stock handling is set up for the business man who wants some comfort too. also its only a 3 litre not pusing too much boost ( its only got like 100bhp per litre compares to say an sti's 127 bhp per litre) so its only pushing like 300bhp.

@cobra96svt570 Imo I've always considered it to level the playing field to match a mustangs 4.6. granted it is much older than the new I6. I mean i rode in a 2001 mustang gt with many many mods, suspension and power. I believe the owner said it pushes around 690bhp. Also with the suspension work done it could easily be a track day special. I felt like nothing could beat that car. I could go on forever but all im trying to say is they are both some sweet rides.
