The critical views aren't too hot either, I was expecting Aqua because I respected them for what they are, they talents, their original, authentic sound, there was no respect for that in this album, and you clearly don't understand, appreciate , respect the authenticity of their sound. This isn't Aqua, it's Aqua trying something modern, and well, critically, I've been looking around it didn't take off too well. You want to spice it up, go ahead, but it's not the same Aqua I knew.

There are always going to be songs I remember from them because they were true music. This, it's catchy. But we all know it will never be their best work. But what do you expect? The industry has changed over the years, and they are making many artists adapt. Sadly this is the only way we are seeing them performing again.

@yodagreennutsack actually theres was a time that i know of that they did during the intro to Barbie Girl. See Aqua Eurovision 2001 Copenhagen. They introduce it as so "Oh hey Barbie"... "Fuck off Ken", while flipping the bird to the crowd. And end it with her calling Ken a "dirty bastard". I'm sure there's been other incidents but thats the only one I've ever seen years back. Don't want to start and argument just want it to be known they have no problem cursing and havent in the past.

No, you're right. I've heard it, I was a pretty big fan over the years. But, that was Barbie Girl, and it was a song they didn't really enjoy singing at that time. As time went on they appreciated it again and sang it in its entirity and unaltered. And I thought it was a sign of maturity and their diversity to be able to accept all their work equally and respect their musical diversity, talent. Let's face it, some outsider helped right most the new songs, the best are done by Aqua.

I loved the child like fun of their original music. I was so so excited for this album, I refuse to listen, buy it, because it was such a let down for me.

Spin Me A Christmas has that energy and soul Aqua used to have, maybe a few others. But, over all, it just doesn't really feel right anymore.

I have no argument, these are facts. One of my favorite of the new alum is playmate to Jesus. Regardless, they all changed throughout the years, going solo, and Aqua isn't the same, neither are they. Invalid, what a ignorant thing to say, these are artists, they kicked off the POP industry in a big way, and people my age still listen to AQUA and love it today. Modern entertainment is of a different era but if society , culture had any true intelligence, respect for the arts and artists , we would preserve talents and respect those talents as historical and equally significant works of art. There are no "hits" on this new album.

Spin me a Christmas is one of the most Aqua songs of the newer stuff. Their serious stuff like Turn Back Time was even tops. The entertainment industry simply lacks what it had before and is there to spread insanity. Just look at this video and all the anger, that isn't very Aqua, I think I'll go watch Roses are Red and enjoy myself, laugh with Aqua fans. It's not the band, it's the industry and the shits that they worked with who work for "the industry"...independent would of been better.

I was a fan when I was 12, now I'm 25 and the reunion is the best thing AQUA has ever done! I have been their fan and will be forever no matter what songs they write! I got confused by the lyrics at first sight, but the rhythm is great. I'm not Danish but I understand Danish and while I was reading all the comments I got the impression that the Danish fans do not appreciate AQUA as the rest of the world, they just take them for granted!
