I think not. Wii benefits also 512MB of flash RAM, and you can also "expand" Wiis memory by inserting an empty many GigaBit -SDHC card in it. Besides, the control method Nintendo uses on Wii, would have recuired too much power to run games well on previous consoles that includes XBOX.

@kcitizy The main core of the game was actually for Game Cube, not for Wii... Until they announced the new hardware (the Wii) they port the game to it and fix the control system for the new hardware, that was one of the reasons they delay the game.

That´s ridiculous...the WII offers a poor 640x480 resolution! Most of the best games on the old PS2 have better graphics than the WII games, today the references are PS3,XBOX360 and PC of course.Nintendo designed the WII as a good entertainment family system and the point they want to reach is not to make incredibly realistic games, it´s not even HD,you can´t even watch dvd´s,blurays or listen cd´s with a WII,this doesn´t mean that it´s a worst machine, it´s just a different market...

@tehkillgie Twilight princess wasn't a wii game. it was a game cube game that was adapted for the wii. infact TP was delayed 2 years just so they could release a wii version. but even the wii version uses old game cube technology (graphics wise) so if TP was going to be on any graphics count down it would fit in "top 10 best graphics for a game cube game"

you kill to make/upgrade armor and weapons. its a really good game and no it is not like wow. the online is a 4 person lobby and you go on hunts together. the equipment you have and get can make the game tactical and very fun with friends/ online. if you own a wii, definitely a game to buy.

Graphics matter insofar as they usually reflect the processing power of a console. More power means developers can do more, create deeper gameplay, more content, more sophisticated AI etc. Also depends on what type of game. Sometimes realism is desirable for immersion. Sometimes it doesn't matter. But c'mon, I love(d) Nintendo, but even I can't defend it when comparing the library of games on the Xbox.
