@CraneDriv3r WoW!!! That's amazing!!! It is my dream to drive TATRAs!!! And yes sir, there are a few models for civilian application!!! One which I am absolutely sure about is the Hemang range of TATRA trucks doing duty in the mining and construction applications in mofussil areas away from the cities!!!
@CraneDriv3r Which is why they are extremely rare to be seen in more populated urban areas!!! I think even the T-813 is on offer in the tipper and tractor variant, but I have not been able to spot them yet in the civilian outfit!!! U can find more info at "bemlindiaDOTcom"!!! unfortunately, I'm not able to find much online at this moment!! some of the stuff from before doesn't seem to be available!!! in india TATRA is in collaboration with BEML and VECTRA group UK!!!
@CraneDriv3r I also read bits about TATRA entering a joint venture with KAMAZ for producing KAMAZ trucks and buses in India at TATRA's existing facility!!! Oh, and I've been lucky, I got the chance to climb into the cabin of 2 Military TATRAs, 6x6 and 8x8 on 2 different occassions!!! Nearly sat in the cabin for almost half an hour each and tried to understand the different controls and systems!!! Was an amazing time spent!!! :)
