I'm of Norwegian descent, Forge pattern welded Norse swords for a living, and really like what these guys do musically, but fear their a little bit naive on its outlook of our ancestors.... :/
The ancient Germanic and tribal cultures sure as Hell weren't perfect pure and simple. Sacrificing your children to made up disgusting gods isn't exactly loving and pure. Having sex with animals isn't to pure either. ALL humans are fallen and evil in the end. We need to find unity and love in a Savior.
I believe our personal perceptions of people's and history's is bullshit. Just because some crazy dudes were not "Pure" enough for you.. they can't possibly of had an ounce of dignity? or Honor? or common sense? come on Dude! I did not hear the word "perfect" in the story.
@porsherider tegernako is a gallic adjective and means "proud" or "royal". that was said on the official eluveitie website. this information got lost after they revised the whole site, but you can still see it in google-cache.
