And the sound he gets is excellent. But Imogen wins the day. When the two tunes combine at 2.20 she really lets her father's music strut its stuff without sounding rushed or bombastic.
Gahh... Too much brass at 2:30. I know they have the melody, but at least have a little balance.

Boult's Lyrita CD version is well worth a spin - rapid but very dashing!

Do you know, this is about the only version on youtube played at the right speed? Perhaps it's something to do with the conductor :)
