Wow ! Thanks for posting .... I've only seen Kenny in vids with RL before. Love his voice and slide - no wonder RL adopted him : ) From Africa thru a chain of blues - all the unrecorded masters - > Fred > RL > Kenny > ? > ? .... And all these geniuses playing in their own unique style .... All I can be sure of in this world is that the blues will never die .... Hill Country forever Amen !!! ( gonna check out these Aussie guys now, great sound : )
Kenny Brown amazes me every time I hear him..........he raised the whole Robert Johnson 100th B-Day celebration to such an elevation, I was nearly faint !
Introduce yourself to a guy you never heard of. Skinny white kid hung around Juke Joints, beggin' to play. Played with some of the greatest. Love Kenny Brown
He's the great RL Burnsides adopted Son ! Learnt the Blues from RL from when he was a youngster playing Junk Joints in the Mississipi Delta. Saw both him and RL
I've heard the world; the Germans, Japanese, Indians, Peruvians, and New Yorkers. The rightest music from the soul unto the globe comes from the North Mississippi Hills. I knew that before I knew it, and I'll know it after.
