  • its a real shame places like african lion safari, el caballo blanco, wonderland, old sydney town etc. have closed. Places where families could get up and walk around, fresh air, spend time with their families. Nowadays mummy and daddy are each working 60 hrs a week to pay off the $700,000 AV jennings home and their holden captiva diesel, whilst the kids are at home on the XBOX 360 eating cheesy poofs and getting fat.....real shame :(

  • K-Tel. What a cheesy company.

(those freaking disco records they made must be worth millions nowadays)

  • 1:33 - 2:02 Mmmmmm Cheesecake *Drool* *Drool*

  • Whatever happened to K-Tel?

  • Wow! I didn't know that K-Tel made oven cleaner! Here in the US, we used to always see ads for K-Tel LPs!

  • lol at the 0:47 smile

  • She was probably actually gagging from the rather powerful fumes those things used to emit!

  • Another great vid.

  • Only in the '70's do you get to see smiles like the one seen at 0:47.

  • Yes, the K-TEL TV ads were frequently shown in the 1970s. The top 40 LPs were a good example. Some 1975 & 77 period U-matic TV has recently been dubbed by one of my Melbourne contacts. Apparently the quality is very good. Hope to upload the highlights in a few weeks.

  • Looking forward to it. I love LP ads!

  • Here in the UK we had nothing but K-Tel too. Interesting that the stores caption seemed to be fed in at broadcast?
