  • Karl Richter was the master

  • Great version of BWV 768 (=2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*3)

  • Karl Richter: Triosonate Nr.2 C-moll, BWV 526 (Bach) - 1965 Recording, DG

    thanks and regards

  • I really hate to critique, but it is "die Orgel" not "das Orgel". Otherwise, thank you for posting this divine piece of music!

  • Die orgel? Isn't that Dutch? But I now realize what I really should have wrote was "An der Orgel"

  • Dear advisor: it is not DUTCH but GERMAN. Dutch means: from Holland!! This mistake is often made because in German it is"auf Deutsch"which sounds as "Dutch". But you are right in one way: the word for "Orgel" is the same in the Netherlands: het orgel. Bedankt voor je reactie!!

  • I'm referring to the word "die".

  • Yes I understand, I was just explaining the difference between "Dutch"and "Deutsch", that's all.

  • @feetje2008

evidently, the Anglo-Saxons didn't distinguish between their cousins on the continent.

  • I think this music is the motion soundtrack in heaven. The first time I heard this masterpiece in the same performance by Maestro Richter was a long time ago, when my father just had died, and gave me confort and peace. Now listening this track I´ve cried, but felt the same peace and devotion, this music takes us to God, thank you Bach, thank you Maestro Richter, now you are listening the heavenly music directly.

  • Interesting upload. Nice introduction as well.:)

    Impagabile Karl Richter!

    Grazie per questo bel video.

  • Grazie Micangess.

  • THANKS

this is soooo beautyful, i really love Richter's recordings!

  • Thanks advisor! Is always a pleasure to listen Karl play Bach.

This recording is from "Archive" Cd (with Doric Toccata etc....)?

  • Yes. That is correct. I may upload the Passacaglia but that piece requires much more work.

  • please do, the Passacaglia is sheer heaven with Karl playing.
