I have never seen a air intake in the grill. every bronco we have owned was either on top of the carb or was on top of the fender well like every other vehicle in the world. I had my 85 fuel injected 302 go through mud that was as deep as the door handles. still ran. my guess is you just don't know how to drive.

its not like the intake at the grill is a direct tube to the engine...there is an airbox that is designed to keep water out...and if any water that does get thru will simply evaporate....what exactly happened to yours....fyi ever f150-f350 from the mid-later 80's to 96 (97 for f350 models) had an air pick up at the front grabbing air from between the upper rad suppot/grill and hood...i think your bronco was a victem to poor matience

It's not Twin I-Beam, it's TTB. If it were made for that, then why do they have to be re-aligned more than any other front suspension system? Also, why is the TTB suspension known for being weak and undependable when used in extreme off-road conditions? I love Fords, but TTB is shit. It's made for the 90% of 4x4 drivers out there that will never engage the hubs on their 4x4. The only thing TTB does do well, is provide a smooth, soft ride.

TTB is stronger than you think. in a bronco for instance, it's a dana-44. the u joints are the same in ttb as a solid d44, as is the brakes and most everything else. they dont come apart no matter how hard you beat them. (as shown) so what if they have an extra U joint in one side, and an extra slip yoke?
