Looking back at this routine, Chelaru could have scored pretty high on UB had she not fallen, she has some different skills from the top 3 finishers who had practically identical routines (Porgras/Racea/Andrei) . Her form is pretty good but I can see she doesn't have as much of a powerful swing that Racea has. Still, its going to be great next year when all these girls upgrade on UB . Love it
I know; why dont they take out her Jaeger and put in a Tkachev instead? Same value(D) and somewhat easier, as the gymnast is always going to be closer to the bar, and has a better chance of catching it, as she has to straddle backwards over the bar, rather than push away from the bar far enough not to hit the bar with the heels, but not too far away as to miss it, like here??
That would be great for her to take that out and put in the Tkachev. I am waiting for the day that the coaches invent some cool release move on UB and perhaps someone like Porgras will do it OR better yet, Larissa Iordache who is already doing a cool dismount off UB .
This girl ALWAYS falls on that move and that coach ALWAYS DROPS HER.... OMG - thats so predictable. But i still adore her and she is diong well on her other events , still UB is still Romanias worst event.
Yes, this could end up being a psychological thing for her, like Vanessa Atler(USA gymnast) with her Comaneci Salto on bars; it became her nemesis, and she missed it 99.999% of the time. In the end, her coach took it out and she never looked back!!

I LOVE Diana Chelaru but nearly every UB routine I have seen she misses this skill , she has alot of promise too just hope she can get over this. The same for Raluca Haidu on UB she always falls too but her form is GORGEOUS to watch.. hope they get it 2gether on UB.
