True. Cao Cao never needed his a strategist or commander-in-chief, since he was a military genius in his own right. Sima Yi was basically unnecessary until after Cao Cao and most of his senior generals were dead and gone.
lol i remember when i first saw this - i was like "WOAH didnt see that coming". then i realised its actually pretty realistic according to history - ok cao cao was dead before this point and sima yi died too a while after cao cao died, but it was sima's successors that overthrew the cao family (ie cao cao's successors) and then wei gave way to the jin dynasty. and it was sima yi's original plot to do so (i think). so it actually makes sense..... of course with the right people involved
