It's doesn't take much effort to write it down by ear. I don't mean to sound like a prick, but I did a few years ago as a 13 year old kid. I wasn't very talented then and I don't think I am now, but the point I'm trying to get at is that it's better to do it yourself.
You don't necessarily have to write it down. Download a music notation program if you're really dedicated. I prefer to type tablatures in my handy little itouch. :)
I like the slow counts and fundamental approach you've taken. Can't wait to apply it to the kit (or at least try to). Thanks for the great lesson...I've been fascinated about linear beats and now I have a great place to start.
Brilliant playing and explanation mate. Please shove some more up if you can. I am gonna practise right now on that!!!! Check out my drumming vids if you can. Very different style, but variety is the spice of life!
Dude, you are the shit! Thanks for posting this. You should keep em coming bro. The rest of us will be forever grateful for your teachings. You have no idea the shortage of good teachers on youtuben
Nicely done and 1 of the more interesting linear beats I've heard on youtube. Funny, I actually find it easier to count the 16th notes rather than think in terms of 3-5-8. Everyone's brain is wired differently I guess. If you have any more on these I would love to heard them, Thanks!
nicely done dude! i'm a self taught drummer and i've been wanting to learn linear playing, but have always been intimidated by the perceived difficulty level. your video made so much sense! thank you!
very good lesson, and yeah some guys really go to slow in explaining things. all u gotta say is " no to voices at same time" done. then tell the beat. thanks

3rd: H-S
and then I get stuck. does anyone understand where I´m coming from and can explain the rhythm to me like that? appreciate it!tx
