What's significant in this match isn't our goal but the fact the most talented international team since Brazil 82 were kept out of the last 3rd of the pitch. @saurabhheartbreaker Can't disagree more... Englands Defence/Midfield this match was almost faultless and because of the England were probably the team who deserved the win. Spain may have had most possession but that means nothing when their defence couldn't handle one simple set piece.

Players like Parker really showed the world how much of a threat England really are.
