I hear where you're coming from man. You just gotta keep trying. Even if you can't actually play it atleast try to hum the rhythm. It all comes with time and once you get one song under your belt the rest becomes a lot easier.

@KempoKyushoMuayThai if an 8 string - then Ibanez RG2228 no doubt. it's the best serial 8 string instrument so far. and affordable. if 7 - then check out ESP. if low on budget - then Schecter is your best friend) i played on Schecter Hellraiser 7, it was the best 7 string i ever played (even better than ESP). it felt very comfortable. but then i did this custom 7 string, and it's of course better for me in all aspects)

@havokRazor718 Although acheiving the same range is as easy as tuning a guitar to B standard! Or BEADF#B And then if you wanted you could drop the B string to A. All you need though is another low E string and bam your +10 djent!

I'm looking at a custom Intrepid Pro at the moment, which is 470 USD on its own (case included), 583 with shipping. It's still a good-quality guitar, too. That's "affordable".

@KempoKyushoMuayThai gotta say there are a lot of companies out there where you can get a decent 7 string and just replace the pickups and have a really good guitar.. like you can buy a agile and replace the pickups.. As far as the 8 string goes.. i personally wouldn't buy an ibanez RG2228. That guitar is 2000 bucks..bro... you can get a custom hand made guitar 6,7, or 8 string for 2000 bucks just look around the web.
