Disable all assistance, expect bare minimal traction control (practically unplayable without), play with a decent steering wheel and come back to me. I swear to god, I nearly had an heart attack first time I played Rfactor. It's that intense. I took me a good 2 hours to just get decent lap. Amazing game. For pure rally simulation, give a try to the good old Richard Burns!

Those are some epic physics...I've never seen an open wheel car start flying from hitting another open wheel car's tyre IN ANY OTHER GAME(In other games that I've played/watched videos of they just lose speed, they don't start flying). Respect!
@ldioot59 Well, there's a small excuse for it. When you buy the licence for the f1 now, it includes heavy rules for the crash physics, for example it isn't allowed that the cockpit isn't allowed to take damage and things like that. I thing that a flying car is forbidden too.
That's some funny coincidence! My cousin and I were playing GP2 with the same Simtek team and we qual 1st and 2nd (he beat me by a full second), we managed to get through LaSource but al Les Combes I outbraked him and we both had a monumental crash hahaha, great days were those.

Plus that game crashes are commonly over-rated. A crash titled "Safe Crash" would attract less watchers than the "Fatal Crash". No worries, that just the internet.
Whatever you see it as, and the real circumstances may have been, this ISN'T real, and quite frankly disrespectful to every driver to have died in Formula One over the years to label this as fatal, whatever levels your moral values are at.

GP2 was a perfect game. A move like that would, in real life, be punished with a catastrophic destruction of your car, which is what happens here.
F1 2010....that would be a small bump.

Quality went horribly down after GP4. Like EA and Sony were too ignorant to use normal physics. F1 2006 was horrible.
