  • Great to see this SB, I haven't many moths or butterflies this year. It is flitting very fast from flower to flower.I have had these humming bird hawk moths in the garden though in the past and they are brilliant to see.

  • @eccentricoldcow yes, you have to be fast and the last thing you think of when you first see them is that they are moths. Hope you see more butterflies soon!

  • @solitarybee Yeah they are quite a sight to see. Like first time I ever saw one, my jaw dropped. I've had a few butterflies in but not that many considering the buddleia is in full bloom. But the the weather's been atrocious this weekend., and is set to be that way all week. :(

  • Thanks for your videos, this season. Always a pleasure to see them.

That's a beautiful moth. It's moving so fast, it hardly seems to have time to sip any nectar. LOL

    Delightful garden visitor.

    Jess

  • @kittykatz506 - thanks Kittykatz... yes these moths are a pleasure to see let alone catch on film for the brief instant they are there; the lavender smelt so good that there were bees and other insects all over it. Hope to post more videos soon to keep you 'entertained'.
