And the original disk can't hold it? For one a blueray disk can hold up to 50GB's of data, did you know that? The 360 disk holds up to over 9GB's if I'm not mistaking, they are not giving us a full game that's it. How many characters did MVC2 have? Enough said, get your facts straight.

"Street Fighter X Tekken" has a new trailer out introducing 5 exclusive characters for the PS3 (and hopefully X-Box 360). They include "Pac-Man", the original box-art version of "Mega Man" (for some reason that version is fat LOL), Cole from PS3's "Infamous", and "Toro and Kuro", Sony's mascots. Hopefully the X-Box gets an exclusive character, like Marcus Fenix of "Gears of War". (Hopefully Capcom sees this comment).
So I bought MVC3, and what I really hated about it was the online players....thats what took me off since I don't really do research on games like that. But when I saw this "Ultimate MVC3"...I had the straightest face (This face -> -_-) and said MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN SUCK MY DICK! because that's a waste of money....

Yeah, fuck Capcom. They made that incomplete PoS MvC3 and then made UMvC3 which costed 40 more dollars, and it should've been in the first game....AND PEOPLE STILL BOUGHT IT! SMH!!!
I fell for it with SFIV, but I knew it was comin' with MvC3. Especially when the reviews and stuff came in highlighting its skimpy roster and modes, and that it felt incomplete. That earthquake excuse for why they couldn't release it as DLC is a complete joke. I bought UMvC3 for $40 when it came out, and only one DLC pack so far. I won't spend anymore than the equivalent of $60 on it. This way, I am still supporting Capcom and enjoying their game, but not supporting their BS.
Also reason for lack of sales is because gaming is expanding to adults. The adults are former kids who used to have a lot of time on their hands and now have next to nothing for play time. We also talked about the move to microgaming (eg. Plants vs Zombies)

I work in the game industry and the talk we are all having is when the gaming industry is going to crash again. KOF 12 was similar. The only difference is that KOF 12 was a field test, and the first iteration of the series on next-gen consoles, resulting in the superior KOF 13 which had a lot more. Capcom had MVC released with the intent to make money on something unfinished, then release the finished version to try and get MVC buyers to get the same game twice. People who mindlessly defend UMVC3 are inadvertently promoting this behavior. You seriously want to start getting 1 game for the price of 2?

@deadstrider Here are some characters I would've wanted in this "Ultimate (sarcasm)" update; MARVEL: Ms.Marvel, Daredevil, Elektra, Venom, Howard the Duck CAPCOM: Captain Commando, Mega Man, Roll, Jill Valentine (RE3), Amingo, Little Nemo (Capcom made his game).
EA did that with Most Wanted Black Edition. When you first bought the original Most Wanted (or downloaded, whatever), it already had Black Edition on there - just add one file in the game's root directory and you have Black Edition. (minus the Bonus DVD and soundtrack)
To say someone doesn't care about gaming for buying a game you don't like is a bit too far. Plus, you never really mention gameplay in any of this. Even in the first video, you said that you don't care if the gameplay is good or not, which contradicts your arguments about Sonic fans, whom only cared about characters, much like what you're doing here.

I have MVC3 ( bought before I found out about capcom) but I refused to buy any DLC or the Ultimate edition because I could get a whole lot more by buying another game that should have already had that stuff in the first place. "Street Fighter X Tekken" has a new trailer out introducing 5 exclusive characters for the PS3 (and hopefully X-Box 360). They include "Pac-Man", the original box-art version of "Mega Man" (for some reason that version is fat LOL), Cole from PS3's "Infamous", and "Toro and Kuro", Sony's mascots. Hopefully the X-Box gets an exclusive character, like Marcus Fenix of "Gears of War". (Hopefully Capcom sees this comment).

I fell for it with SFIV, but I knew it was comin' with MvC3. Especially when the reviews and stuff came in highlighting its skimpy roster and modes, and that it felt incomplete. That earthquake excuse for why they couldn't release it as DLC is a complete joke. I bought UMvC3 for $40 when it came out, and only one DLC pack so far. I won't spend anymore than the equivalent of $60 on it. This way, I am still supporting Capcom and enjoying their game, but not supporting their BS.

Also reason for lack of sales is because gaming is expanding to adults. The adults are former kids who used to have a lot of time on their hands and now have next to nothing for play time. We also talked about the move to microgaming (eg. Plants vs Zombies)

KOF 12 was similar. The only difference is that KOF 12 was a field test, and the first iteration of the series on next-gen consoles, resulting in the superior KOF 13 which had a lot more. Capcom had MVC released with the intent to make money on something unfinished, then release the finished version to try and get MVC buyers to get the same game twice. People who mindlessly defend UMVC3 are inadvertently promoting this behavior. You seriously want to start getting 1 game for the price of 2?

I understand that the majority of people have no idea who some f these characters are, but it doesn't hep when they don't even try the characters. Do you really want tons f characters from X-men and tons from Street Fighter? Using BBC as an example, he listed the characters he thought Capcom could of used and as I recall a f them were from the previous game. I personally would hate that, but everyone has an opinion.

EA did that with Most Wanted Black Edition. When you first bought the original Most Wanted (or downloaded, whatever), it already had Black Edition on there - just add one file in the game's root directory and you have Black Edition. (minus the Bonus DVD and soundtrack)

To say someone doesn't care about gaming for buying a game you don't like is a bit too far. Plus, you never really mention gameplay in any of this. Even in the first video, you said that you don't care if the gameplay is good or not, which contradicts your arguments about Sonic fans, whom only cared about characters, much like what you're doing here.

@Matoro4Ever At least buy it off of eBay or from some private person. They usually give you games for cheaper than stores. The only thing that keeps me buying from stores today is because I want companies to get some revenue off of the games, so they make more.

He does however have a very valid point regarding DLC prequels/sequels, in my case Deadrising 2: Case West. Just in case he hasn't noticed, this whole situation is just a marketing gimmick, and I personally think Microsoft is worse when it comes to marketing than Capcom.

I have MVC3 ( bought before I found out about capcom) but I refused to buy any DLC or the Ultimate edition because I could get a whole lot more by buying another game that should have already had that stuff in the first place. I also try to tell my friends about this but some of them bought it anyway. Here's the thing, you don't see Nintendo doing all this DLC stuff. Their 1st party games almost always score 95% or better with most reviewers. They take their time & release a finished product.
These "bad/low quality" games are what caused the "video game crash of 1983" Nintendo saved video games back then by releasing quality products & regained consumer confidence, if they hadn't we wouldn't be gaming!
