  • just put it out on the market

  • that can cut your finger do you guys can make the razerblades faster then well people will sure buy it

  • Sounds like that thing has not enough power to push a person, just sayin.

  • @AlBarathur Since 3 and a half years ago, enough progress has been made such that a motor smaller than this can push a person. See the build reports and newer videos.

  • gay vid

  • It's cool, but even though it can turn the wheel, does it have enough power to move you when your on the scooter?

  • if i asked how much would you sell two pair for would you do it?

  • You need to make a pair of AT's with this.

  • the tech reminds me of something i saw on a show my son was watching call air gear the had micro motors housed in what seemed to be rollerblades with extreme power output and i would love to see them brought to life maybe you could give it a shot?

  • But, will it blend ?

  • You can speed your bearings buy doing that?

  • thats cool but if you dont want vibrations then put a nother motor on the other side

  • why does everyone here want to make air trecks? is it just because you saw something on TV and you want to try to do it in real life? i've seen that anime and if you think you can go straight up a building with something like that you'll be very disapointed.

  • @2Bforsaken if peoples could make some of the things that have been made back then than theres no saying about what we could do

  • make a vid of u riding it

  • Watch my

    Vids

    Plzzzzz

  • im going to laugh when that breaks on you

  • please show me how u did this

im turnin this shit into ATs lmao

  • Hey @teamtestbot Do you know where i can buy this at? im attempting to trying to create something mad...... >.)

  • @JuliuStorm That has been done already. It's in the video responses.

  • @JuliuStorm That has been done already. It's in the video responses.

  • go try it out xP

  • u could make a pair of AT's from Airgear with that !!!!!

  • I lo9ved the sound at the end HAHA!!

  • men u can make something similar with a in-line skate (roller)????

  • we can make AT's with this

  • how fast does it go?

  • hi,pls send your contact details,

    thank you,

    santhosh,

  • try to do this with the rollerblades

  • @cloud12456

    See my website.

  • @teamtestbot Sorry dude i searched the website but couldn't find it..@_@ Maybe you could PM me a direct link?! This looks SOO awesome lol!

  • @Kolosos007 You must have not looked very hard, because it's currently on the front page.

  • @teamtestbot it is?! I went and i read something about a motor and a scooter but not rollerskates :S

    Imma look again.

    .

    .

    .

Ok yah now i found it after clicking around xD

And lol Great job :D...Can't wait to see some videos and whatnot :D

  • to my older post add h)t)t)p:// to the site z13(.)invisionfree(.)com/TheAtProject3

  • You want airtreks? Message me. We got a full blown site ready to rumble.

almost lol. we got over 100 peeps and we are pretty far into it. been working on it for a few years z13(.)invisionfree(.)com/TheAtProject3

  • where the engine gets the power?

  • your website is down :(

with 4 of those wheels how many ah does it drain full speed ?

  • @teamtestbot Hi my name is raheem and im asking a question. Is it possible for you to make a motor on a roller blade?. If so please tell me Thank You.

  • super cool!

  • Did you build it yourself

  • Do you know of any companies selling in-wheel motors for the auto market? I have been waiting impatiently for a few yrs now to get my hands on some for my EV project. Golden Motors from China had one but have apparently dropped the idea. They had them on their web site and now they are gone.

  • @saxmanchiro

Kelly Controller sells one model of car-size hub motor retail. Otherwise, most of theirs are motorcycle and motor scooter sized. I have yet to see more car hub motor retailers.

  • @teamtestbot Thanks. I'll check them out. I wish the big companies(PML, Siemens) would help out the DIY crowd. They aren't interested in the little guy/gal.

  • so u need to be hooked up to move? then what happens when u run out of wire?

  • while i listen the sound that wheel makes, i feel like i'm flying on AT *__*

  • are you selling any of thes wheels on ebay?

also is it posible to make 1 whith a 100mm wheel?

please reply would realy like to know. cheers

  • get these into production!!!!

  • hi i was wondering if u could give me a link to a page or video of a walkthrough of exactly how you made this and got it working as on the link you have supplied the links dont work as supposed to and i have a project i am working on and this would be very useful, il credit you guys aswell for the help, thank you

  • @xxassassinxx

Greetings. I have prepared a document at Instructables entitled Make Your Own Miniature Electric Hub Motor. Now, youtube won't let me link to it directly, but you can still go to Instructables and search for that.

Additionally, the Snuffles project has been retitled RazEr. I have updated the video information accordingly.

  • @teamtestbot

thank you for ur help, greatly apprieciated

  • o fuck,

  • make a motor skate!!

XD I would totally buy one!! :P

  • low speed high torque motor with small metal gearbox and larger batteries will do nicely for this application.

  • stop suddenly on that thingXD

  • dude ho big is the energy sourse?

  • i mean ca you make it smaller

  • About how fast could it propel a 150 pound person if four of the same powered wheels where used? Rough Estimate?

  • 1HP out of that tiny motor? I'm skeptical.

  • I suspect that SOON you'll see this concept in Motorcycles.....

that is presuming that someone has not done it already...

  • how much torque in newton meters or pounds/inch can this put out?

  • Yes Like Evryone Says You can Make ATs ^^

  • @M3MillenuimThree

this week or next week, i am going to make an AT version of it.

  • well only if u knew wat ur doing lol id prob blow myself up i wish u could buy sum...

  • je voudrais un

  • this looks lieka bunch of rc gear, taht battery especially. are oyu sjut using a mid sized outurnner. it looks nice but i dont think it will cut it, maybe those big 380kv outurnners would do.

  • The motor is fully custom built. The newest iteration has a Kv of 65 and propels the scooter at around 12 mph.

A Kv of 380 is far too fast for a direct drive motor.

  • ok storm riders lets get to it

  • thats fucking deadly

  • i want that

  • fuck yeah im down to make sum AT

  • @1700jagger ya air trek

  • i went to the site.....they used bigh ass bateries compared to the sise of the weel

  • only a matter of time untill an air gear fan with money stumbles across this video, AT's will be real here soon.

  • I as an Air Gear fan would absolutely love them to be invented!! xD

  • Im decided to be that guy, im in school, im not rich but it will be me. I will do it wait for me...

  • i need to know every thing their is tu know about this

the website dosent give me much information

  • @HeArDsTyLePlAyGrOuNd

That would indicate to me you did not browse very much. Full build logs of both wheelmotor versions and the scooters they went on are on my website under Snuffles Reloaded and Project Razer.

  • people who so despretly want air treck

their a world wide group of people determined to make the world of air gear come to life join and share your knowledge

    watch this video

  • dude air treks are so posible to make rightnow....its just a matter of money!>.>

  • money isnt a big problem. theres allways more were it came from! we just need people willing to spend just a little each! ^^

  • SH*T! That sounds fast! Would it go that fast if you were on it though?

  • AIR TREKS LIVE!

  • FUCKING YES!!!!

  • can you saw me how do it. Can you do a Tuotial :D

  • kcickasss bro

  • whats top speed

  • Dude thats awesome nice job. Could you message me on how you made that because i am one of the many who would like to try making AT's but don't have any type of medium.

  • thats just a way not to use energy.. in your body. just dont be lazy and push the damn thing

  • Great, so scooters can now be NOISY and annoying. Great.

  • Electric vehicles are actually extremely quiet. The whine from the motor is because it's running unloaded, and the vehicle isn't on the ground, which dampens most vehicle noise.

  • ok, cool :)

  • Think you can do that with a pair of skates?

  • I concur with DESTINDHERO will you plz make

    a Tutorial. THX Anyway. ; >)

  • electric?

  • plz plz tell me your going to make a tutorial for the le wheelmotor.

  • how does it ride???????

  • i would put a motor on the fron wheel to and make it 2wd

  • amazing we can use somthing like that for at's ( Air Trecks)

  • my thoughts exactly but im kinda pissed at the older dudes who saw at's cause when i saw em i wanted to be the one to make them well back to the drawing board... well maybe i get the rocket boots ...DIBS!

  • What other dudes? I havent seen anything about at's being invented yet? or seen any vids?

  • ya but there are some who havent posted and some who dont want to for idea stealing reasons and all either way you ain't alone on this idea some are just as close or even ahead of you

  • how do u make that

  • pretty sick

  • eh, there's a set of equations to figure all that out but i hate math...and i don't really feel the urge to find out either..so yeah. Awesome scooter, nice idea to put the motor inside the wheel.

  • 65 rotations per minute means a little more then one turn a second...pretty fast...lol

  • per volt.

The system operates at 30 volts.

  • howd u make that? send me a message back.

  • mad!

  • hi there, i just was woundering did u build that motor your self or u bought it? i was looking all over the NET and couldnt find anything that small:(

and what power is it? in watts

  • does it have enough power to actually carry someone?

  • See the newest video.

  • can one mature thus motor or these also build a little broader and did use him then in Rollerblades??? would be this possible? thank you

  • lol you need bucketfuls of batteries

  • whats a air treck.

  • dude thats not going to be able to pull anything

  • See the newest video.

  • would it be possible to either buy theese kind of engines or schematics, im interested in how they work been trying to figure it out online however i cant seem to find out how to make one or how they truely work

  • that little brushless motor wont push anyone lol

  • See the new video.

  • a of my friends, is making proves in his university to make air trecks ^^ and the regalias too !!

he promise me one pair, and my own regalia, designed and created by me ^^

yeahh !! stars road in coming !!

air trecks are posible to do !!

  • yh air treks would be amazing if i had a pair i'd do a back spin wall ride 180 straight away :P

  • gimme some air treks plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i wish it were possible :(

  • THIS IS AWSOME FOR AIR TREKS

    air gear talk*

would it work on roller blades like as in if i wore them would i move

how fast can they go with a person on them

  • Wow, someone else looked at this for the hopes of being able to make themselves a pair of Air Treks ololololol

  • comon air treks would be koool yea

  • i agree with you 100%, it would be my dream come true (kinda) to have one of the air treks, i tried to see if there were any in sale or anything, but theres nothing about it

  • YEA A FAN

  • yay X3

  • will you offer step by step tips how to make one or will you sell it?

  • this is amazing, do you have schematics to show how you made this.

  • hey can you make a roller skate version cus that would be awesome

  • you could creat air treck out of that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I makeded the motor.

  • hey teamtestbot, whats the top speed of ur motor carying an approximate weight of 150lbs?

  • how fast can it go

  • ya know u should put a few small battires in a back pack and wire them up ?!

  • I put them in the frame instead. Beats wearing a backpack...

  • you are a genius!

  • OMG! air trek is on the way!!!!!!!!!!!

  • its here already, the same design can be used for it, just mount the batteries on the back of the shoe and use pressure censor on front wheel for acceleration and one on the back wheel for brakes, dont reverse that or ull do a backflip during acceleration and land on ur face when u stop lol XD, hey teamtestbot, i dont suppose u could share the designs? PLZ

  • NICE :) gooo air trek

it would be nice if became a world sport :) lol

  • You definitely wouldn't want to use a foot throttle in an application that relies on using your feet to control weight shifting in order to remain in control. I'd stick to a wireless hand controller.

  • yeah that would be the more logical way to do it and the safer way but im not lookin for logic or safety plus i already thought about all the drawbacks but if the foot throttle is placed in the front and activated when u shift ur weight to the front, it minimizes the danger

  • When you want to stop, your weight will shift forward despite any leaning you may perform.

  • i know, thats why the motor will be in the rear wheel and the pressure sensitivity will have to be pretty high for the motor to activate, and also the braking system will also be on the rear wheel so u could attach a cut off switch so that if the brakes are on the motor cant activate. Trust me of thought of every angle on this.

  • or a polygraph, that means you could set the throttle with your MIND X3

  • hm... think you would be able to make these in 80mm form? or even smaller? i have an idea brewing....

  • hi,

which batteries are you having in mind?

  • I currently use flat lithium polymer cells. I need them for their compactness.

  • Ok, now, tell us what happen if you touch the brake.

  • If I let the throttle off and do so, the wheel stops.

If I keep the throttle wide open and do so, the wheel starts melting...

  • and when there's smoke,

  • ...they pinch back.

  • Please try to make one with very fine small

copper wire, then please sell it to me.

This will use the Newman effect.

    Checkout my overunityDOTcom forum

    Many thanks.

    Regards, Stefan.

  • ... there is no such thing as free energy.

  • very good!...

  • now ive seen two poofs walk down the street but THATS GAY

  • ur gay...!

  • i agree with Dizza THATS GAY

  • how do u make them what parts do i have to buy to make that motor?

  • I have access to a shop that has a vertical milling machine and a metal lathe.

For this type of motor, you'd need neodymium permanent magnets, a laminated steel core (I get them from gutting old motors), a wheel to work with, and related hardware, like bearings and coil winding wire.

  • where did u buy the motor and or parts?

  • I makeded them.

  • Good Job makededing them.

  • You guys are gonna "Put Your Eye Out "

  • Great!

    where you bought the engine?

  • He made it...

  • It works already. See the linked video in the Responses.

  • dude keep ur wheel doing that all night and it'll ware in the wheel sooo good

  • this is sooo cool! cant wait to buy or built one!

  • how fast

  • Haha,I meant 150 Lbs. my bad

  • I really like the fact that someone has done this. I don't know if anyone is familiar with AT's but people are trying to figure out a way about making them. My main concern would be the speed while someone about 150 Kg. would do when riding motorizes scooters with wheels or roller blades. The idea for roller blades would be harder but in the same really amazing.

  • holly shit you are going to haul so much ass with that thing

  • beautiful sound :)

  • 0.9A @ 35.0v in a 3 phase BLDC is only 55watts not 1kw.

What sort of rpm have you designed it for?

  • That's a no-load condition. Optimally it would be even lower than that.

The second prototype runs at about 65 RPM per volt of input and so should run around 2000RPM no load at 29.6v nominal. I'd have to actually ride it to find out the loaded RPM.
