Man this music takes me back to the 8th grade back in the early 80's. The pure funk just was so cold blooded. We had a spot for all the teenagers called the ''squeeze inn'', and they sold hamburgers,chili dogs, had a few arcade games, a juke box, & a pool table inside. All of rick james best hits were on the juke box. Man we were just being young kids having so much fun and not having any worries in the world but going to school and doing your chores.
