My point is that it is possible. And electricity is procuced already with solar, wind, nuclear and other non-critical, non-destabilizing methods. That can simply be budgeted after forbidding gas cars.

You rhetorically deny renewable resources and technologies as a weapon against changing the petrochemical traditional economy. But there really are other ways to produce electricity than the worst possible coal.

There are better cars today than hydrogen cars. That project is meant for corporate profits promoted by Bush and would take 30 years to develop. The only problem you have is that you want to continue using gas out of habit, but instead you should start using electric cars. So the reason why you don't like hydrogen cars is because Bush supported them. That's weak and stupid. The technology for hydrogen cars is here now. They work. We just need to invest in the infrastructure.  Electric cars ,on the other hand , suck.
