  • @noelplum99

i only have been doing this for forty years and your results are where?????

do some research of your own and actually test this.....wanna make a large bet???

if what you trust in is wikapedia you probably believe in the A.M.A. FOR HEALTH

    so GOOD luck

  • i say slow state cardio is useless, sprinting however will melt fat, try it haha.

  • with cardio you can build muscles you never known about, for example your heart will grow and all the muscles that hold the heart and lungs

  • Also cardio has a bunch of health benefits weight lifting doesn't give you.

  • @100percentNatural100

try this on all you cardio experts

    NOW WATCH THIS

you have to make "some muscles work to get your heart rate up",,,,,hello duhhh

now work difeerant muscles hard and quickly one after the other and walllahhh

you have cardio.......now go back and THINK!!!!!

  • Do both. Weight lifting doesn't burn all that much calories since its not continuous. Right when you're done the weight training you should go right away and do cardio since all you're glycogen stores are low and you will be burning fat pretty much right away for energy when doing cardio. Also since cardio is continuous it burns more calories then weight lifting. Burning more calories then you're eating means weight loss.

  • very good video

  • I did not understand..

  • I say watch biggest loser and stick to what work!

  • talk boy!! talk!!! (smart guy)

  • its not a waste of time. The problem is people don't train at the right intensity when they do cardiovascular training. It needs to be at the right heart rate % for your bodyweight. He is part right, having good muscle strength does burn more calories but I dont think its in the 500 while you sleep range! maybe 200-250. I have lost 58 kgs since march and i do cardio/weights training at a ratio of 60/40. Do both and like all things in life its about balance as much as that is a cliche'

  • lol you're dumb to understand physics. lol you're dumb to spell "laugh out loud" so you spell "lol". lol you're a fucking retard that can't read

  • @otsenrexxx LOL are you GANA cry about it

  • @wigglezwow LOL i'm not the one who needs to be crying since you just misspelled "going." Dumb piece of shit. Go back to preschool and suck on your mom's dick. Maybe you should try working out while you're at it fucking dick sucker

  • @otsenrexxx you're so mad...are these insults supposed to mean anything over the internet anyways?

  • This guy is a legend!!!

  • Great Video! 100 % CORRECT!!!

  • I don't think weights burn more fat than cardio. I'm a wrestler, and in fact, during the wrestling season i have to stop weight training and increase my cardio to cut 20 pounds. During the off season i decrease my cardio because it burns too much of my fat and doesn't allow me to increase my muscle mass. But if you have 1 inch of fat and you weight train you're gana build more muscle than lose fat and you're gana look fatter because of the fat layer is above the muscle tissue.

  • @otsenrexxx I hope you know that everything this guy has just said is supported by scientific fact...are you saying muscle doesn't burn calories? ...lol you just ignored every single reasoning this guy just gave you while you typed up a paragraph in which you couldn't even spell some of your words correctly

  • @wigglezwow i hope you know that everything this guy said is also proved wrong by scientific fact. Not only that but you obviously can't read since you believe i misspell words. Also, you've probably never worked out in your life. Lets prove this using physics. You weigh 100lbs=50kg you run about 3 km. lets see 100lbs over a mile thats 1500000 Joules. You curl a 100lbs weight 1 ft 20 times thats 100lbs over 20ft = 3500Joules of energy. looks like you burn more calories runnying. dumbass

  • @otsenrexxx Still can't spell lol....pathetic

  • @otsenrexxx what about the loss of calories after your weighttraining when the muscle is tearing and down and rebuilding.

  • wow well said.

  • Does running or walking strengthen your leg muscles? I can't see how it would because if it did, marathon runners would have huge leg muscles.

  • @jreily88 SPRINTERS have massive legs as they run at peak intensity for relatively short periods. Marathon runners run very long distances at a constant speed never challenging their muscles- to grow you need to "progress" in intensity. Also long-distance runners burn up all their calories, making growth basically impossible.

  • @spritz0

Okay, thanks for clarifying that with me.

  • @jreily88 Your welcome dude, ask anytime. I am a bodybuilder (natural) and eat healthy.

  • do calistenics count as strength training?

  • @Jzend001 yes if....if done with enough intensity

  • If every pound of muscle burned 50-100 extra calories, NFL players would never get fat... Body builders wouldn't have to cut fat for shows... MMA fighters would need to drop weight for fights!!! NO!!!! If you want to get in shape DO CARDIO! The changes that occur to your cardiac system make you utilize oxygen and calories more efficiently...

  • @EVILTRIPS666

i can tell you are "read" but dont understand applications of physiology

  • cardio is good for general health and heart. I lost 38 lbs in 10 months by doing cross trainer and eating healthy. In fact it is they way to get a six pack, which I am beginning to see now

  • all i did was laugh at you so shut up and quit acting like ur mr proper self richouse faggot

  • this guy is full a shit man lol fucking douch bags

  • Dillon, if you can't manage to disagree AND be polite, don't bother posting.

Just because you're anonymous, sitting in your chair in Oklahoma or where ever, it's not okay to be rude.

It's still surprising how many juvenile people I see, in real life and on You Tube.

The low carb websites I read don't have this problem. But then, the low carb people tend to be very intelligent and well mannered.

  • He made an excellent point!

Another good thing about lifting iron, to work harder, you just add another 5 or 10 pounds and start lifting!

To do more walking, you have to walk longer, which takes more time.

And I feel energized after a solid workout!

I like walking and of course, cardio is good for my heart and lungs. I don't need to lose any weight, but I would suggest lifting iron for people who do want to lose weight.

    Bonne chance!

  • man man man man lol
