I mostly prefere Ibanez (because I haven't owned one as of yet), I guess because very big into the neoclassical style of playing, and the overwhelming majority of the neo classical guys play Ibanez's

@strato434 Looks like a Telecaster? What are you smoking 'cause I want some. Mark's Dominion bares VERY little resemblence to any Fender. Both upper and lower horns are too shrot, the ass-end is too long and the top of the ass doesn't protrude as much as the bottom, making it look more like a Washburn Maverick Series. On top of that, the entire body in general is bigger overall than Telecaster; its about the size of a bass body.

@tenhundredkills: I've had a Dean ML for 5 years and I love it. The only problems I've had with it is one of the volume knobs was screwing up and the floyd rose gives me some trouble. BUT, I shouldn't have gotten a floyd rose in the first place since I don't really know how to adjust it and all that. It's one of the cheaper ML's too. Like everything else, people have differing opinions.

@pantera2012 Those problems you just mentioned are problems I'd rather not ever have to see in a guitar. Thus far, the only companies that have been flawless in my experience are Jackson, ESP, and Ibanez. Maybe I've just had bad luck with Deans, but I see more bang for the buck with other brands.

In Guitar Encyclopedia they award each maker with certain accomplishments, this one went unchallenged, well until you questioned it.

Jackson was also named the most copied metal guitar (especially Rhoads model) by ESP, Kramer, Washburn, Epiphone was even sued (1 yr. issue) anyway they're all good brother, Gibson included,. No worries

led zeppelin isn't metal, and tony lommi was a guitarist who played metal, but the term "metal" was hardly ever used back then if used at all and it wasn't designed specifically to play metal all around and it couldn't because weren't enough genres of metal that existed at the time anyways.
