,This one fell down in my hand when I was a teenager and I grab it and I have or wil not ever loose my grip on it, this is a magic piece of music, so if you dont have it get it....
Never listened to these guys ever before but I met some girl at an Arctic Monkeys gig at the O2 last night who recommended this album to me. Whoever you were... Thank you.
a masterpiece from this era of the b'men..heaven up here is hard to beat overall and evergreen /flowers are very good....my kingdom is my all time fave song..seen 'em twice...crocodiles and i was the puppet are raging in concert.
Alright I remember reading they went to Paris to get inspired. Definitely shows throughout this album. I also believe this photograph is of a cave in France. Well along with Disintegration this is my favorite album from this era.
I just came upon this song again after about 20 years! such a gem. The Bunnymen, Smiths and Cure were my life back then. Well, they still are, but in a different way. Happy/Sad memories!
@spunkets I meant Ian McCulloch said that the Ocean Rain album was their masterpiece, not only the song. Their David's Michelangelo as he once put it!
Excellent! It really brings me back to a time that I loved so much. I can't go back again physically, but my mind is free to explore the past. Great selection!
Too much, too much. I can listen no more. So many memories and friends gone.

Even Ian McCulloch said it: "Ocean Rain is our masterpiece"! And I love Will Sergeant's delicate guitar parts...

@lyonslaforet
I thought he said, "Killing Moon," was their masterpiece. Or was it,, "Bring on the Dancing Horses?" "Back of Love?"
But then, I bet he said that about all their songs.
In any case, an excellent band, exellent memory, legacy, song.
I can't help wishing I'd done something as cool as this in my life.

So haunting, so spooky, so wonderful. What a wonderful thing to have been a teenager for this music and still be possessed by it 20 years later.
