Enough to make conversation and get by. In fact, my Spanish teacher is from Colombia, where Shakira's from! I think Shakira's English is fantastic. @ConwayTwitty001 Yeah right. Nobody knows the number but people tend to believe rumors and what is said elsewhere. Even Wikipedia claims that Shakira's IQ is somewhere around 140 or higher.
But who cares about numbers. She is obviously a smart woman, a good artist, she cares for kids and believes that good education is important and should be available to everyone. That alone tells us a lot.
On top of that, she's amazingly beautiful.

It´s too sad.....Shakira comes across as a really intelligent and humble person. Seems like a true humanitarian. But when she does those half-porn dances in cages and stuff...it´s just so degrading. First time I saw that cage video, I couldn´t stop thinking about human trafficking and how they want to portray women. It´s so much water for their mills so to speak.
It´s like, I like her but am very disappointed. She´s sold out to the mainstream culture.
