  • Angelfish get to big for a 10 gal. 29 gal minimum since they grow in height not length.

  • I dont see how anyone could dislike this shame on those people :(

  • Awesome set up. Where is your filter, you must have one for a big tank like this?

  • ckeck my tank out

  • I added to my favorite's beautiful fish tank and the music!

  • awsome vid dude

  • tell me wat u think of my tropical tank on here

  • i like that it is peacefull

  • nice tank!

hey someone told be that having airstones in planted aquairums is not good for the plants because the co2 escapes really quick when the oxygen bubbles go out to the surface...

  • Lovely tank, how have you done the bubble effect, looks good? What piece of music is it please?

  • i sat down with my kitty to watch it and she loved it! :P

  • Haha, how can you keep the angelfish out of sight for the first two minutes?! They should pop up every now and then in a 10 gallon tank lol. You have created an aquascape with lots of hiding place, nice!

  • Lovely tank, the fish look happy!

  • Get some FANTASTIC fish foods at MrFishFlakesDOTcom!!

  • one of the best aquarium videos seen so far. congrats!

  • how do you keep those long fined fish with tetras i have a little problem with fin nipping in my tank and they have shorter fins then yours?

  • Great setup, I want one just like it. Are all the plants real? What is your setup in terms of filters, tank, heater, air stones etc?

  • @quadbiker07

All the pants are real! (and fish :). Just normal sponge filter and heater. The tank size is about 10 gallon.

    Cheers

  • i have 3 goldfish, 1 pleco, had 2 guppies, 2 angels, 1 gourimi, 3 black tetras

  • i have 1 albino corydoras, 2 dwarf grammies, 2 rummy nose, 5 neon tetra, 3 guppys, 2 danios 2 rainbow tetra and a honey grammy there all kl

  • Awww, you made me feel like keeping guppies back :(

    I now currently have

    5 - Rummy nose tetra

    2 - cherry shrimp

1 - Chinese golden algae eater

  • Are those angelfishes really eating your plants?

  • @nodepressiv Yes

  • it amazing m8 any advice for a beginner such as myself

  • Do your angel fish not bother the tetras?

  • This is quite a beautiful simple natural looking tank. Thanks for the inspiration! My 2 year old nephew loves the 'eggs.'

  • i wish i had the same

  • Wich fish is the little black dude at 1:37???

  • have a look at my tank with 7 pictus

  • How big and how expensive?

  • I love the natural look of the Tank :)

and you included my favourite fish, exept for the angelfish,I once had a pair,in a 10 gallon aquarium, like yours, with 2 pairs of guppies and one siamese alage eater.the angelfish pair was so mean and nasty for thr guppies,I returned them to the store in the end.they need really big tanks.

  • beautiful fish and music. I like it!

  • where the angelfish?

  • nice setup...you should get some freshwater shrimp. An amano or cherry shrimp would assist your pleco with algae eating very nicely.

  • To the commentors talking about wood in tanks... To avoid discolouring the water, boil the wood in a large pan, change the water and boil again... keep going until the tanin stops leeching out.

  • When putting real wood in a fish tank, doesn't it make the fish tank messy?

  • well I've heard driftwood can cause the tank to become cloudy ( I think I read that). You can try soaking the wood in water before putting in the tank so that if wouldn't be so bad.

  • It will not. It balanced the PH value.

  • what pleco is that at 1:44?

  • bristlenose

  • how do u keep that clean

  • super fish tank

  • I love it! Wery nice job, everything is great! And the music fits wery nice!

  • This is lovely

  • come si kiama la specie del pesce a coda rossa?

  • is that a 10 gallon tank?

    and it is peaceful

  • Yes, it is.

    Thanks!

  • Can You Help Me? I Am Palnning To Get Some Tetras And A Plec

  • Will The Plec Eat The Tetras ??

  • wondering if someone can help me

    I have 5 neon tetra's at home with 5 glowlight tetra's

2 of the the GL's are quite big and have a orange stripe all the way across them with orange eyes. Three of the others are small and have a black line that ranges only from the end of there tail to a couple of mm into the body, without the bright eyes. Are these a different gender or are a different species

    Thankyou!

  • i feed guppies to my cichlids but that is a nice tank

  • lol. guilty.!

  • so nice really & peaceful

  • nice I enjoyed this vid :]

  • How many gallons is that tank?

  • hey, what an EXCELLENT setup, the best ive seen. Question! how are your angels with the tetra and guppies, i had guppies but got eatten. :( have you got gouramis at all? and how many gallons? or litres

  • My angels were not so big. If you get the biggest guppies and feed them regularly. They will stay peacefully. Currently I have 4 angels and 4 guppies together with no problem.

    Cheers,

    12/12/2009

  • very peaceful mine are like this they swim all around and dont care if a little kid is baging on the wood

  • Cardinals are schooling fish and really should be kept in groups of minimum 8-10 for them to feel comfortable and display their natural behavior.

  • This is a really nice tropical fish tank!!

  • Awesome tank

  • nicely aquascaped, some nice dwarf baby tears around the bottom, but trimmed near the center to create a focal point would be awesome!

    just a suggestion.

do you plan on doing more?

  • i got a little baby pleco same as u

  • lol watch this after a rip....its fun

  • Beautiful tank !

  • Really pretty and like you said really peaceful, great music.

  • you should throw in a Red Tailed Shark

  • or better yet, a red finned shark, but only put in one shark because otherwise they will fight.

  • How big is your ''tank'' of yours

what filter, are you using ,and how often do u do waterchanges

    plz abswer bck

    ploxks

  • Lesby

  • If that thing in the background is giving off oxygen, then you dont need it. Your live plants are more than enough =/

  • lol its a oxygen bar, and im pretty sure that it dosen't matter if its there :)

  • So peaceful. Check out mine it's the opposite.

  • LOL

  • guppies... so cheap... very effective... more so than neons.

On another note - why are Pleco's so expensive?

  • what is name of the plant at 4 sec (left side) ?

  • very peacefull tank, I enjoyed that vid

angels and guppies are my two favorite fish

  • got any tips for keeping yourplants healthy? lovely tank btw :)

  • How big is this?

  • about 10-12g

  • I am really impressed! Some of my plants seem to get this white "dust" on the leaves, ill try and wash them later i think. But about how big are your angelfish? and how well are they doing?

Because i was thinking of adding one or two angelfish (what do you think is best? do they always need a mate?) to my 15-17 gallon - where there's also a panda coryfish and some neon tetres & a pleco

  • can you keep male guppies without female guppies

  • well done my friend.

  • Thanks!

  • I've got a Bristlenose, also got Serpae tetras, so guppy's get their tails shredded =O shame really, nice piece though 5/5

  • someone smart please help me

someone smart please help me 6w

  • beautiful set up ...

love your fish ... WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MINE ?

  • guppies mate like hell,!!

  • Nice, are the plants real?

  • Yes

  • Nice Tank nice music

  • Glad you like it :)

  • it is removing the carbon dioxide the plants need. the air stone makes oxegen for the fish but kills the plants. look it up :D

  • they relax me they are magical =)

    son muy relajantes son magicos=)

  • amazing

    !!!

  • bellos

  • It looks like you have a Male and a few female guppies? Well let me tell you, your tank is nice and peaceful now, but here in a month it wont be when you have 400 guppies swimming around.

  • you might want to remove that air stone ( air bubble maker ) it will slowly kill the plants :)

  • How can that happen? =)

  • nice tank! angel fish can get fin nippy once they get big.my mom has a bristle nose pleco.

  • i have a tank devoted to african cichlids, and a couple weeks ago i lost a few fish to some disease. a few days before they died, they lost most of the pigment in their skins and they were just a pale white color. i think it was a viral disease, but would anybody know what it might have been?

  • Hey very nice, wonderful guppy. Thanks for your comments on my RAMS. I will post present video of my tank today. Piece of advice: do not mix angels with guppies. As soon as those angels grow, they will be dinner and more.

Hey I have 6 Rams now! 1 is a german ram and 5 are balloons. I just got two females and I am planning on making babies with them, where are your holland balloons?

    Leti

  • great video. the music went well with it.

  • This is awesome

I'm hopefully getting my tropical fish tank today :)

Will put up my own video soon

I like the angel fish that chase everything and the little fish with the big tail = ] 5 stars = ]

  • This is so sweet! My favorite is the Angelfish with more black on it. Do You clean the stones by sliding them around under a tap, IboCino? Nothing accusatory, just wondering.

  • I alread found the problem and its been solved. Thanks all for the help. Your help really improved my tank quality

  • PLSSSS HELP ME!

I just bought an aquarium with the grind and plants etc. This kinda is like the first time for me so I tried to do everything by the book. I put the plants and turned the filter on but my aquarium looks rly dirty. Some brown like sand floats around my aquarium an isnt going away. At the top of the water i have this mud like really things that wont go away either. What did I do wrong and how can I do it better. (sorry for Engrish)

  • did you leave the filter to run for a few days before adding fish?

  • No, the parrotfishes are still in the shop where I bought it. The guy said that my aquarium must run for 2 weeks so that bacteria will be created. I had goldfishes when I was a kid and I never thought it would be this difficult to build an aquarium :D

  • It isn't too difficult. Once its set up you wont have to do it again. Anyway, nesley101 is right gravel is better, you don't have all that murky water with gravel.

  • u shud get gravel... nt sand or wateva

  • now that's a great guppy :X:X:X

  • thats an awesome tank. do those plants need a lot of light to keep them alive?

  • This is possibly the best aquarium I have ever seen. Great job and cool fish.

  • kool fish

  • yea nice tank but u should never put angel fish with neons they eat small fish so i dont think ull hav alot of them left in the long run

  • I never have trouble with mine. the angels can't catch the neons.

  • I LOVED IT!!!!

    My dream tank.

I'd like a pleco or a clown loach though.

  • nice music, also

  • Thank you for sharing, great vidio! My dream tank!

  • Thats an impressive guppy! Youve planted the tank really well. I could wath fish for hours. How do you get the bubbles to do that?

  • with a bubble wall. it's like a foamish hose with pinprick holes all the way up it. you put it wherever you want then tada! a bubble wall, lol.

  • Maybe ill look into getting a "bubble wall". How big is your tank? Ive got a 35 litre and im not really sure how much fish to keep in it. Ive got 9 at the moment and want to get 3 more. What do you recon? ooo look at the bubbles! bubble bubble bubble!

  • it might be a good idea, they look great! my community tank is a 20gal which is about 60-70 litres i think. it depends what fish you're keeping, all fish have different requierments and sizes

  • I got a blue dwarf gourami and a bristlenose catfish yesterday. Theyre really cool. Take a look at my new vids if you like.

  • Nice stuff, I suggest you get a new tank for the Pleco ( Brittlenose Catfish ) as they can grow over 2ft in length. Get a 120litres tank at least.

  • 2ft? Not that big for a bristlenose. About 6inch max. But yes i will get a bigger tank for him. Also i have Gibson SG, great guitar!

  • Very pretty

  • That is why fish keepers keep fish in their homes. so relaxing, even better with the music added. Great video. Nice to see you taking care.

  • please tell me the name of the music also

  • that's beautiful

  • I also like your fish tank :)

  • really nice

  • please tell me the name of that music.

    i really need it

  • i love that son it is so relaxing whot is it called

  • i love that son it is so relaxing whot is it called

  • you should make that video into a screeen saveer ...

  • Amazing how many people think ur video is lovely i totally agree with them, well done :-)

  • So nice! How do you keep it so cean without disturbing everything?

  • Calgon take me away

  • your fish tank is nice

  • i was close to suicide till I watched this peaceful video of your tropical fish in all of there splendid glory. ive had 5 wanks over this video so far...and many more will come...i'm sure of that. thank you.

  • LOL ianwebster you make me giggle

  • ive got a bout 40 gupppys in my tank mostly red males and alot of sword tails and some scurf tails and 5 neons ive had neon babies before ive got 3 white cat fish 3 peppered cat fish and 3 bronze with a massive plec and a white plec my tank is 3 ft by 2 ft im trying to find somewere to buy some of the guppys of me

  • ** SAD STORY ALERT **

Guppies may seem basic as you can get, but I enjoyed mine as a teen, especially when the lone female spawned one night. Was I ever excited! I had to leave the tank in the care of my (evil) stepmother when I went on summer holiday, and she killed them all by cranking up the heater... Sick, huh? You've inspired me to set up a tank again, tho, leisure168.

  • Thanks for posting this video. Whenever my 2-1/2-year-old sees me at the computer, he'll say "fish, fish" until I put on this video.

  • what size is your tank ( gallons)

  • 10 gallons

  • Your red-tux guppy is(was) beautiful. Your fish go really well together, wish I could choose that well!

  • Yes it was beautiful and peaceful!

  • favourited...

  • very nice and relaxing.

  • Angel fish are regarded as a community fish and are not known to be agressive towards other species. However, the persona and habbits of the fish can be effected by the size of the tank and the number of fish within it. Its also a good idea to buy Angel fish small and let them grow with the rest of the tank. This way they are less likely to be agressive towards other fish.

  • My angelfishes normally are quite gentle. They are not easy to catch the small ones because the angelfish need to make steady focus before attack but the small ones are fast swimmers. However when the cardinals or guppies are weak or sick, my angelfishes do catch them from time to time. Probably this is the natural rule.

  • vid and song harmonize, excellent choice, beautiful display of fish and very impressive plant, setup. Very soothing. thanx 4 sharing.

  • angelfish are not nasty when they are small how ever when they get large yes...

  • very very nice

  • Are angelfish nasty? I kew someone who put 2 in their tank, and it kept eating all her neon tetras. I'm looking to start a small aquarium in the new year, so would be grateful of some good advice from people

  • the angels ive had can be territorial at first...it really depends though, hard to give a certain answer. But I wouoldnt put them in a tank with guppies or siamese fighting fish, because this tails could get damaged by the angels nipping at them

  • I set up a tank a couple of years ago, didn't have a clue what I was doing, I got some pregnant guppies, and one got stressed on the way home and gave all the tank white spot, I did try and save them but they all died, so im reading books and looking on the net this time for some tips, i'll bear that in mind about the angelfish, as I would like some in my tank

  • My angels are rather nasty cos it likes to snip on my guppie's fins and poke my neon tetras.

  • Nice tank but the angels require a larger tank.

  • Sorry I clicked the wrong video and thought this was a 10 gallon. How big is the tank anyway?

  • very very nice

  • it's good

  • i cant stop watching it lol its just so nice ive watched it about 30 times so far and what is the name of the music i have just got to get it man i have nevr known anything so calm and peaceful please tell!

  • the tanks great the fish are excellant and the music is so clam and relaxing what more can i say, it makes you think how nice tropical fish and fish tanks are when alot of people have normal fish or even non and they bother with other dear things that people waist there money on these days when they havean oppertunity like this too have something so beautiful!

  • angels dont bother that flashy guppy? wow

  • i like the blond guppy

  • Beautiful tank and beautiful fish. congrats on keeping angels that big, they always seem to peg it on me! Great vid.

  • love the music it reminds me of peace!!

  • Nice tank setup

    Are your plants real?
