Actually Greece was not alone at all. During the Independence War, more than twenty skirmishes happened between Turks and Englishmen. In 1919, Eskisehir is liberated from the English by force. Engish puppet Menshevik Georgian and Armenian governments were defeated in 1920-21. The war against French and Armenian forces in south was ended with a very bloody victory. Only in Gaziantep more than 6000 Turks died.

Moreover, the Independence War was a civil war at the same time. In 1921, the total number of Kurdish, Pontian, Armeian seperatists and Sultan's Islamist rebels was close to the number of National Forces.

In short, Turkish-Greek battles were only a piece -of course, an important piece- of a very big puzzle.

I have read Cilgin Turkler and due to time constraints in this film it is unfortunate that Turkish womens contribution to the war effort in this program is insuficient due to time constraints and needs to be added and shown. Translations in the short sentences is excellent however; long paragraphs needs to be improve.
