@Charlestherabbit 1st, print out a copy of the Constitution, give it to your teacher (who, quite frankly, has no right to misrepresent the facts about Paul) and ask her where in the Constitution it mentions Isolationism, for if it is not in the Constitution (it's not), then it is not in Paul. 2nd, Ron Paul describes himself as a Non-interventionist, meaning he would absolutely support military force if, and only if, it is necessary for the National Defense and approved by Congress. Iowa Caucus is a non-binding straw poll that sends delegates to the county conventions, who send delegates to the state conv, who send delegates to the RNC. So we get unpledged delegates, technically: Ron-6, Mitt-6, Sant-6, Grinch-4, Gardasil-3 +3 unpledged.
Buuut….Paul supporters stuck around to ensure that they were selected as county delegates…some are saying this paid off. So yes, Ron Won.

It's whoever has the most delegates that wins the nomination. Don't be retarded people and give up just because he came in 3rd at one caucus. McCain did pretty horrible and still got the nomination because it's the delegates that matter not just placement.
I began watching the selection, and Paul was at 42.9 percent.. I went down to work, and an hour later, he was at 22, going down to 21 percent.

I believe Santorum's unforeseen success in Iowa is due to the fact that Bachmann did so poorly. I think the Bachmann supporters jumped over to Santorum. The Evangelical vote is not going to weigh in as heavily in New Hampshire as it did in Iowa. I don't think Santorum is going to place better than 4th. The battle in New Hampshire might be between Dr. Paul, Huntsman, and Romney. If Dr. Paul stays near the top in New Hampshire, the South Carolina battle might be Dr. Paul vs. Romney. We'll see!

I switched back and forth from fox, cnn and msnbc during the coverage last night and found Rachel Maddow and msnbc giving the only talk and coverage on Ron Paul! Fox and CNN acted like he didn't exist! I feel the younger generation is RP'S major support group and most of the older "entitlement" generation, certainally not all, were more in the Romney/Santorum camp! Iowa rarely picks the actual nominee for the Presidential Race...only three in it's history At the last Republican Presidential Caucus, Mike Huckabee came in 1st and John McCain came in 4th and who got the nomination, NOT Huckabee. Since i don't live in Iowa or the states, which options is it? I have a very hard time believing it would be option number 3 BUT how in the name of lord are you only able to get 0,0086 % of the votes after spending several million of $????????? @MrDeppness Proportionally by percentage of votes. These delegates however will not be locked in until the republican convention. This means that the delegates need to be willing to wave through the months ahead. If candidates drop out then their delegates are divided. If the candidates delegates don't show up at the primary then they are screwed.
Losing one battle doesn't mean the war is lost, Ron Paul WILL be nominated, and he WILL win the election. The common man and woman, who aren't sheeple, will make it so. We all need to utilize Ron Paul's phone from home program and make some calls for him. We need to win New Hampshire. Historically New Hampshire has a better record of picking the nominee than Iowa. @Charlestherabbit 1st, print out a copy of the Constitution, give it to your teacher (who, quite frankly, has no right to misrepresent the facts about Paul) and ask her where in the Constitution it mentions Isolationism, for if it is not in the Constitution (it's not), then it is not in Paul. 2nd, Ron Paul describes himself as a Non-interventionist, meaning he would absolutely support military force if, and only if, it is necessary for the National Defense and approved by Congress. Iowa Caucus is a non-binding straw poll that sends delegates to the county conventions, who send delegates to the state conv, who send delegates to the RNC. So we get unpledged delegates, technically: Ron-6, Mitt-6, Sant-6, Grinch-4, Gardasil-3 +3 unpledged.
Buuut….Paul supporters stuck around to ensure that they were selected as county delegates…some are saying this paid off. So yes, Ron Won.
Still a sad day when J P Mormon and Frothy can beat Ron for the popular vote.

I began watching the selection, and Paul was at 42.9 percent.. I went down to work, and an hour later, he was at 22, going down to 21 percent.
I understand he will get same number of delegates as the Twin_bot, SantoRomney, and I hope this bodes well for the rest of USA (like, this time, the SEE HE CAN WIN)..

I believe Santorum's unforeseen success in Iowa is due to the fact that Bachmann did so poorly. I think the Bachmann supporters jumped over to Santorum. The Evangelical vote is not going to weigh in as heavily in New Hampshire as it did in Iowa. I don't think Santorum is going to place better than 4th. The battle in New Hampshire might be between Dr. Paul, Huntsman, and Romney. If Dr. Paul stays near the top in New Hampshire, the South Carolina battle might be Dr. Paul vs. Romney. We'll see!

I switched back and forth from fox, cnn and msnbc during the coverage last night and found Rachel Maddow and msnbc giving the only talk and coverage on Ron Paul! Fox and CNN acted like he didn't exist! I feel the younger generation is RP'S major support group and most of the older "entitlement" generation, certainally not all, were more in the Romney/Santorum camp! I think most of the older generation were dragged to church in their youth and were taught Israel can do no wrong so RP is evil!

Iowa rarely picks the actual nominee for the Presidential Race...only three in it's history At the last Republican Presidential Caucus, Mike Huckabee came in 1st and John McCain came in 4th and who got the nomination, NOT Huckabee. So I wouldn't get ahead of yourself there. The fact that Paul came in third, is actually good news. Now they can focus on that idiot Santorum and watch him, "drop it like it's hot".

With bachmann dropping out and perry potentially doing the same it will only give RP more airtime during debates to spread his message. @MrDeppness Proportionally by percentage of votes. These delegates however will not be locked in until the republican convention. This means that the delegates need to be willing to wave through the months ahead. If candidates drop out then their delegates are divided. If the candidates delegates don't show up at the primary then they are screwed.

Losing one battle doesn't mean the war is lost, Ron Paul WILL be nominated, and he WILL win the election. The common man and woman, who aren't sheeple, will make it so. Most of them being conservatives are not going to flock to Romney, my prediction is they will flock to Paul.
That being said it may be that Romney recruits Santorum as a VP but that is unlikely since he wants to attract independents and Santorum is just too whacky for that to happen.
