@blazingking210 kind off..the plane was ready to be junked because the ammount of hours so sooner or latter it was going to be destroy, but this test showed the impact of the crash on the dumies and also a fire retardant was added to the gas , the fire and explosion was much less in this test..thats what they said.

@MrBullfrog9876 It's not strange at all. Thousands of documents survived the hindenburg crash and there are many more cases of plane crashes and car crashes where passports/drivers' licences survive with only minor damage. On 9/11 they found bound together hands and money etc not just ID's.
