This is one of my favorite DNB tunes! I just bought the MP3 and when it's playin' in my room, I get up and dance like crazy! Awesome job in selecting this video for the tune and it fits perfectly, although at the same time it's so funny (lmao). It's like the guy at the revival in the video is actually dancing to it (lol). When i go 'shopping' for my selection, i don't go for a particular genre. I find 'gems' under all the genres that fit into my sound. It could be minimal, progressive, house, electronica.

Sonically there is a variety of flavas from house to soul to funk to rave to acid to trance-like to rap to disco to 8bit! to glitch and so on. But yet it all fits into one set.

D+B use to have that.

No sorry i was refering to the muscial elements of modern Drum and Bass. Most tracks use a roaring synth sound as the main hook, and thats about it. Sounds so repetitive.

I've been in the scene since '92, from where it came and i've seen it in all its various forms. This would of been called Techno once upon a time !

I've heard stuff from back in the day and it sounds great, but as time went on, DNB tracks became repetitive and boring. Most modern DNB give me a headache after listening to it for half an hour or so.  It's such a shame

But I believe that's true for every EDM style nowadays (sorry for sticking DnB into EDM in such a straight way lol). A lot of shit makes it onto the market. You gotta take the time and pick out the gems. ;)

Ah yes, in that case, i may be missing out on the variety. I believe legends such as Dillinja, Grooverider, Andy C and Bukem are still at large on the D+B scene, i presume they would provide more of a musical scope.

But i wouldn't say all EDM styles are as repetitive as the media presented D+B i get to hear. Im currently following 'Electro' production wise, although i still Dj old school D+B also, and i quite like the fact that people find it difficult to label tracks under certain genres
