I first heard this song sung by the Everly Brothers on their 1966 album "Two Yanks In England. The Hollies contributed 8 songs and played most of the session.
The 'don't run and hide' side has allmost turned gray due to the amount of playing it in the 70's by my dad and a friend of him (and by myself during the late 90's :P )
I first heard this song when I got it on a 3-CD set issued upon the occasion of the Hollies' 30th anniversary in the 1990s. I got to hear a lot of great stuff for the first time in that collection. Which reminds me that I haven't listened to it for a while, so I will try to rectify this in the coming week.
haha, here you have The Hollies version also. Not sure, which version is better, The Hollies or The Everly Brothers

I don't think either side was on any Hollies album (save for hits collections, and that'd be Bus Stop only) Can't seem to find either on any album!

@BestMusicExpert "Don't Run & Hide" was on the 1966 US LP "Bus Stop" on Imperial Records.
