@joyt54 I HAVEN'T! T^T I'm getting them for Christmas though! :D I was lucky enough to go to the show in the Boston Garden when Dispatch played. I got a piece of Chad's puck foam hat....I Love Keepsake. I love all of State Radio and Dispatch......GAH...so gooood :'D
The combination of this scene and this song is a prime example of the beautiful thought and artistry that has gone into making this wonderful show. Despite changes and adjustments in following seasons, I think any person who has lived through hardship can identify with the characters and in particular, this scene. Well done Ms. Kohan..Keep Weeds alive! I don't know what I will do when it all ends.
This show, past season three, fell into the trap Scrubs did. They lost sight of the difference between witty and silly. Moments like the one in this video make the series memorable and poignant. Andy and Doug should make the show witty... and for the first three seasons, they kinda did. In season 4 and 5 those elements became silly and they abandoned moments like this one for "epic drama." It's a shame but I haven't given up on Weeds yet.
@StephenProxy its an excellent show it cant always be that comforting crap, they grow up, character development, Weeds is what a real series should be like.
I love Weeds, but after watching seasons 4 and 5 I feel that the first 3 seasons were by far the best. Things just start to go down hill a little once they leave Agrestic and Conrad is no longer apart of the show.
@joyt54 hmm your'e right. Maybe there he means the guy is sick or his life is terrible and he needs help to do everything. Then he ends is life happily in a kind of bittersweet way. Or something like that. learning it on guitar. pretty awesome.
@driveshaftfan3000 I was just thinking that. I was re-watching Season 1 and it reminded me of how good the show was. So I watched this clip and realized this is how the show should have ended instead of dragging on.
I rediscovered this song in my pc and i couldn't remember where do i have it from..and now i do..i miss the old weeds..i think it's boring now..except for the season finale
i agree i n ever heard this song before the episode and i found out the name and now love it. it did fit the scene incredibly and almost made me cry! and im a dude!
amazing my favorite band in the world. from my hometown. playing on the greatest show in the world. the song gives me the chills when i here it. it fits the episode perfectly. could not be more impressed
