Rush is VERY specific, you cant ad-lib a rush song like you can zz top or the hip or any other band. Its gotta be perfect. However this drummer has the skills where 90% on here dont. Kudos to a very skilled drummer.

you are a good drummer but a lot of the ad lib work you are doing takes away from the grove of the song, and its all about the grove
