I love this show, I was wondering, do you know which episode Benson tells Corinne about the time she told him he was her best friend? There are so many touching moments in this show, I love it!
@RottenCoke That would have been probably when Corinne got married to Tim because Chester was in hiding (that is, the basement) so Benson was the "father of the bride". So I'm going to guess that it's episode four or five of season two. I agree, that was incredibly sweet.
Haha. That was so funny. xD I've never even watched this show before, I just randomly decided to watch a Billy Crystal scene from it. I wish they were re-running this show now so I could watch some more of it... :)
The show ran on cable a few years back, and it was funny that they edited things that had aired 20 years ago. I was both pleased and disappointed when they ran the episode where Jodie meets Carol's mother in Texas, and they cut the line "we don't have homos in Texas...live ones, anyway."
Someone needs to put up the one about the cereal commercial. It's in season 2 after Elaine is kidnapped. That was hilarious! I'd do it, but I don't know how.
This was such a hilarious show until the 4th season when those two writers from the Carol Burnett show joined the writing team of Susan Harris and Stu Silver
Burt really wants to see Jodie married to a girl... Danny is brilliant: "If you treat a woman a certain way, she will respond in a certain way." One of the few men worth dating simply because he is very good looking...
Jodie (and Benson) turned out the only characters in this show who actually had common sense. Too bad it only lasted four seasons.
I don't know about Windows ripping programs, but I do know if you are on mac, you can get "Mac The Ripper" for free if you know how, and it will make a dvd playable in any region.
i would like to have tons of sex with jodie

in the first episode Jodie was a drag queen, and after that he was just gay, and now he's getting married...
i think the writers were a bit confused - at least i know i am.
606curtis57 2 years ago
Well, he wanted to be a woman for Dennis but then they broke up. You've suprised me by flagging up that I never noticed.
I think the writers got confused when he felt with Carol and fell in love with another woman whilst still (apparently) being gay.
GoldenGal42 2 years ago
Confused?? You won't be, after.... ;)
Well, okay, you still might be! lol

I'm relieving my childhood in the early 80's - only understanding more and more how " good " my parents television shows actually were.
